Lessen Animal Spawn with Vapor Extractor on Solo Play

I get that the vapor extractor grabs exotics that are supposed to be hard to come by, but the rate of spawn for animals is absurd. As a predominantly solo player I found it basically impossible to use this addition for resource gathering because it basically is only a matter of minutes until you can't fight back due to the sheer number of spawns against you. Even more frustrating is the machine is destroyed so quickly and costs such a large amount of resources to build. I don't see it being at viable for solo players to use. Maybe a possible nerf on the enemy spawn would be nice?
