Lost characters and gear

I lost a lvl 7 and lvl 50 character and all my gear, I have restarted with a new character and joined a prospect with my friends, I got off last night and tried to get back in today but I cannot resume and all my gear is lost, I have submitted 3 bug reports with no response. How can I get my gear and characters back?

I have a similar issue, my power went out while i was on a mission, restarted the game and my lvl 50 character is completely gone, all my progress is gone. Help.
