[Suggestion] Separate Weather Difficulty from Game Difficulty
The new weather forecast system adjusts weather tiers based on game difficulty. This is a nice feature. However, it would be better if there was a separate setting for this when starting a prospect. Perhaps even adjust the reward bonuses so that hard only adds 30% extra rewards and hard weather adds the additional 20%, or something along those lines.
I think the weather is a big enough feature of the game to deserve its own difficulty setting.

Shannon GriffithThis was the suggestion I was going to make. Have a setting when starting a prospect to keep the weather as difficult as it is right now or even a tad more "interesting" as its more fun to have a weather challenge. If the devs are rolling back some of the weather effects, please have a setting to keep more "extreme weather" and reward players for this similar to a Hard mode setting.

cmopatrickI also think having the ability to make the weather more interesting without having to go to hardcore is a positive, especially in solo. While I grant that it might mean more times I build in caves (especially early mission), it would allow more variety without having to move to the limited/no respawn levels that leave no margin for error for a solo player.

cmopatrickSince I really want you to let me have worse weather than the level I select when going into a prospect (open world or mission), maybe you could set a minimum level of weather for a given difficulty setting, and then let us make the weather more challenging if we want to. This should alleviate any concern about balance, since folks couldn't turn the weather lower than you require for the mission involved.
