Outpost style ore respawn in open world

I may have found a "bug" that allows all open world ore nodes to respawn. I am renting a DS from nitrado. I have successfully made the ore in our open world respawn with out a thumper. Step 1. Start an outpost on your DS. Step 2. Log into nitrado server panel and tell the server to restart. While the outpost is still loaded. Making sure the settings are set to return to lobby after reset and not the former prospect. Step 3. Log into your open world and viola. All ores have respawned. I have done this twice now to respawn all of our ores. The first time no thumper had been used. Second time was after. However, I can assure you, the ore that respawned this way. Had in no way shape or form, been effected by the thumper. It is also possible that rocks and trees have respawned. But the "ferns" in our home cave do not respawn. So likely this is ores only. I am informing you all of this because it may lead to helping those that are having bugged out games. But I want full respawn.
