Walls carry electrical current.

Higher tier walls should be able to be hooked to the electrical grid. Running tons of cables through your homestead to wall and celling lights looks super cluttered. As long as the wall is mostly undamaged and not thatch or basic wood it would be able to carry electrical current. That would allow devices to be plugged into walls rather than running a cable along the floor.
