  Hi there,
  
  Back in December, Icarus changed where it stores your game data. We migrated from a central server to storing your game data on your local PC. You can read more about this in our Week 53 update: https://store.steampowered.com/news/app/1149460/view/3611354355089820956
  
  For the three months after this change, everyone loading the game had their data automatically migrated and downloaded locally. In March the central servers were closed and we no longer store your game or character data. Unfortunately we can't restore it for you.
  
  However, some community members have been sharing instructions for altering your game files in order to build your characters up a bit quicker in our discord: https://discord.gg/surviveicarus . I've attached a screenshot with that.

  Unfortunately you cant Help me to restore what i achieved and earned und everything is gone forever ? The Charakter and His Level is the smaller Problem what is whith the exotics or blueprints i already had cause i played numerous Missions ? And why there was no transparence in communication with the Community ?! No big warning Sign your Progress will be deleted forever ?! I apologise but i am highly dissapointed. There must be an Option Not to restore the character but an value of exotics or Something to give your Community or parts of it the Chance to stay in the Game i would recommend to have a Motivation to play this Game again and Change my Bad Rating on the Steam Forum . sorry Not sorry i feel robbed sadly.

  Dont get me wrong but i am the paying customer which only fault was : " to Not Play the Game for a Time of three months" and now my Progress of round about 270 hours is lost on multiple characters and i hoped for a solution in any way . Friendly but sad greetings.

  Unfortunately we are a live service game and are updating the game every week with comprehensive patch notes and blog posts on Steam every single week. If you take a look in the discord there are other ways around this issue too. If you follow the instructions as soon as you can, you have a better chance of getting your character back, as it could stop working at any point. I'm sorry we can't do anything more to help you out, but we have given you some easy and simple instructions that others have also followed and got their data back.
  You can easily give yourself exotics in your character file, I cannot do this anymore as all of your game files are saved locally on your computer and cloud storage.
