A few ideas for power and water

Can walls be modified to accept electrical and water connections? You'd still need the current method of "daisy chaining" the connections outside to a source of water, or an electric drill, radar, etc. However, within the house, you'd make the walls act as an "end point" for connections and be able to connect anywhere in the house. Biofuel generators, water wheels, and solar panels would act as "power in" and all of the benches, radar, drills, etc. would be "power out". Water pumps would supply the house, via a single connection to an outside wall, and all items that use water can connect to the inside walls to get water from the system. This would create a sort of "grid", and all items would have access to the supplies. On/Off switches for each electrical device would help when there's not enough electricity for everything to run at once. Kind of like how my real house works, right? My current Icarus house is a mess of unsightly wires and hoses all over the place.
