[Suggestion] Rebalancing geysers and condensers - Part 1 of 2
I had experience with the condenser, in the open world knowing that in the open world it doesn't generate exotics, only enzymes for statues, so far so good, but I had a very bad experience because:
1 - the condenser is a level 4 device, very expensive to be created and therefore I had the expectation that it would be generous in the return with its use, but to my surprise it only returned 1 (one) enzyme, I confess that I expect some dozens, but it was just very frustrating for all the work, considering the path to its construction and the enormous time it takes to condense it.
The suggestion is that the condensation results randomly between 5 to 15 enzymes (at least) because one is very frustrating and does not make sense due to the work and enormous time in the process
2 - 2 - here is not enough space for text (I suggest doubling from 1,000 to 2,000 or more) I continue with another suggestion

janekburn MergedSo i made myself a vapor condenser and went look for a nice Geyser to farm... OMG WT#! I'm kinda speechless. Yeah i didn't see that coming, dev's u need to tone that down OMG, 100 bolt action rifle rounds 40 workshop arrows and most my platinum knife and the only reason i survived was cos they killed my condenser. The only thing i managed to get from it was black wolf teeth. IT WAS INSANE, i mean im up for a challenge but holy manure that was totally insane and needs nerfing. That was totally to hard for solo. I think even with baracades and multiple guns and bullets i think i would stilol be screwed. Not sure i wish to put the effort in to try and do it. Maybe if u added auto turrets or i could train creatures to fight for me

cmopatrick MergedYeah, for solo, geyser farming is a waste of effort. You get more mining exotics directly for about the same amount of time it takes to build up a geyser site to where a solo can hold it through the waves.
Maybe if they ever make it so a single wall of concrete (or stone) is impervious to all but boss level predators it could work solo, but otherwise I don't even try them anymore.
Also, figure at least 300 rifle rounds (use the berries for ammo (berries>fertilizer>gunpowder) route with a dozen plots of berries to get there pretty quickly) and at least one t4 hunting rifle to go with the bolt action. imo, of course, ymmv. -

Randy MergedI definitely agree that the geyser's are not worth it for exotics in most cases. They do provide an opportunity for a ton of experience, and if you get a good build for a base you can do the geyser 3 times. I like how hard they are, but wish they also felt rewarding from an exotics perspective.

MaximT MergedYesterday i accidentally noticed that not save count finish horde wave Vapor condenser. Usually i make defence system on Enzyme geyser, save game, reload and start horde three count. After that on mini display of condenser i see that changed picture from exotic to enzyme.
Yesterday i got three wave, send exotic to orbit, save game and reload and see on mini display again show exotic! I finish three miniwave, wolf jaguar bears and got exotic again and again get exotic.
On one geyser depot i get 8 count of exotic and then I got bored. I wait today update and think that possible this will be fixed, but nothing.
I am on Payday mission, i am change save to previouse mission in two placeses where i got exotic from geyser and same thing, after save and reload count of exhaustion exotic from geyser reseted.
Maybe it was like that from the very beginning, I just didn't notice it. This is good fo farm exotic, but not interesting. -

UrbanoAntigo Merged2 - the amount of animals that appear attacking the condenser is insane, it is very unreal considering all the mechanics of the game, it is very uneven, not to mention that it is a slaughter that comes to pity, there are dozens of dead animals that get to be tedious skinning so many after the end and leaving a lot of leather, skin and meat that end up spoiling, is something that ends up being something between tedious and irritating due to the exaggeration of animals,
My suggestion is to greatly reduce the number of animals that attack, but even if you reduce it to half of what you have now, and compensate for the quality of the animals that attack, for example, inserting an alpha at the end of each wave, that would be a great challenge but without the things I mentioned as being bad.
honestly I didn't feel good after having so many animals

StolenVexOur team (four players) felt that the geyser event was too hard for the outcome. After getting 32 exotics from the considerable effort to prep for what ended up still being a very lengthy and difficult 3 waves, two of my friends simply said "never again" to geysers. I think if the difficulty was lower (or could be managed in some way to offer easier to harder experiences) and/or if the payout was higher we'd probably be interested in them again.
