Your view should be in the direction the mount is looking when you mount it.

KizmarI was kind of thinking this as well. When you mount, the mount turns to the direction you were facing when you mounted. It throws you off a bit until you realize that's what it's doing.

CucuI disagree, I'd rather continue riding in the direction I was looking / moving before I mounted.
Hosting players do that, game clients turn to a random direction when mounting, which is even worse. But if they'd turn to the direction the mount is looking at at least, I could predict the change and would know where I'd need to turn... at least.
