[Bug] Fence isn't containing your animals
Can you consider adding a fence that animals can't cross? My animals are going totally wild and just keep dying stupidly.
Mounts totaly ignore the little wooden fences and so do the chickens. (i know you can tie tour mounts with a rope but not the chicken s and sheeps + that will be ridiculous)
That fence and the little door-fence exist only as a decoration.
The only way to be sure they are not going anywhere dangerous (jumping from cliffs or in rivers) is to build a wall or the big fence with spikes.
I just put the mounts on stay mode when i'm at my base but chickens don't have that option.
Fence for your animals will have very low durability against predators of course. Maybe you can also make an electrical fence, that would hurt predators (and of course your animals from the inside of it won't be hurt or will just automatycaly stay away from it.)
What do you say?

Elissa - Producer AdminThis should be how fences work already. You might have your animals set to "follow", in which case they would be trying to follow you out of the fences and wandering around outside of your build areas.

FreyaHi Elissa.
No i set them in the "wandering" option to try it and let them in my wooden floored building whith the fences, with food and water. When i came back mounts and chicken where stuck outside trying to come back for food. (ground level is lower and i put only one ramp and when animals are hungry they just try to go strait to the food even if there is a wall and the door/ramp is one meter away ).
In my picture you can see the chicken already going away again just after i bring it back in. And i was still in with it.
I play this game for a long time now and animals have always walked through fences as if it has a little invisible ramp. They also do that with half pieces wall. Only a full size wall can keep them in for sure. -

Judge ChuckUnfortunately, this doesn't seem to be how fences work. Animals escape from them all the time, especially chickens. I've even had chickens (not on follow) escape through half walls that I've tried in desperation, to keep them inside an area. No luck.
We definitely need other gate options though, in addition to the single wood one that it available. Interior & reinforced, to match those railings. -

Sean "RogueCmdr"God please FIX this too.. mounts, pigs. combat pets.. even CHICKENS jump over this These ANIMALS are not on Follow. I can show base after base of it contstantly not stopping any tamed animal whether mount, combat, or livestock
