[Suggestion] Allow full replay of "The Great Hunt" campaign with exclusive branching paths
Please implement an option to reset and replay "The Great Hunt" campaigns, while locking the previously chosen narrative path.
Currently, the campaign forces a single storyline choice across multiple branching paths. To experience all of them, completionist players must create 3 separate Open Worlds — and rebuild their base each time. That’s dozens of hours of extra work just to access story content that was technically already unlocked.
I propose an alternative:
Allow players to fully reset The Great Hunt campaign in a world.
But block the same branch they previously followed, forcing a new one.
After completing all 3 paths in a world, the campaign could then be considered “fully completed”.
This gives players:
Narrative replayability
A reason to revisit the campaign
Long-term engagement
— without punishing them for building a great Base.

xWynt3rAgreed, I was discussing this with my play partners and we didn't want to touch our Open World that had a good base build because it'd basically end up being disposable after the first run. The only update I'd say regarding this idea is that certain paths have to be taken because the branch happens after them, so care would have to be taken on certain paths like the Quarrite campaign.
The grind to T4 and a good base is nice the first few times, but unless there's a passion to rebuild and build new bases, the desire to repeat that gets old I'd imagine. -

Syotos MergedAllow the Resetting of the open world campaign missions for the boss to allow unlocking (and experiencing) all aspects of the campaign without needing several open worlds to do the campaign to unlock things locked in certain paths, and to experience which path you like the most to keep for your open world.

WoodI upvoted and agree with the ability to replay but would also like to ask, why are we so fixed on blocking certain paths permanently once they have been completed? My opinion is just make it so we can replay any branch after the boss is dead that way we are locked to a path but only until the boss is killed. I understand that people would start prepping items to breeze through some of the missions but at this point, this is a single player game with multiplayer functionality and it is hosted locally. Nothing is stopping a player from editing save files etc. if they wanted to make it easy. Another suggestion can also be to put timers on these missions so you cannot immediately replay a mission or even make it a requirement to complete all the missions before the entire campaign becomes available again but yes I agree even if they could just at least make all the missions playable once per open world that would be great.
