[Suggestion] Add More Character Creation Options
Despite 'feminine' descriptor, most face morphs are masculine.

JaysonPhoenixyeah hope so that its still in development and hopefully a really early phase at that.... everything really looked horrible, especially females. useless generic tattoo and scar options on top of that. skin colors off the charts. so many people had to laugh when they see the char creation, you shoudl do something about that fast to avoid the laughter ^^ but sure its not really gamebreaking so go ahead and fix the game first ^^

ZinnaNot just the face though. No one else notices the weird long arms and stuff. Looks like apemen/women. Glad to hear it's being developed. Players love themselves some customization's. That's where many games make most of their money. Being a multiplayer game at that, there is a ton of room here.
@Demonfightr I had an interview once where the CEO said if you aim for the stars you at least land on the moon. What if they aimed for Skyrim and fell where they are now? -

Rob MergedAs a brand new player who wasn't in the beta, I was a bit disappointed in the character creation options and the lack of variety of options. Hair color couldn't even be changed. Was there any reason for that? Will that be improved and can we change look later on?

MochnantI immediately noticed, as a new player, how basic the options were, and would like to see customization. Be sure to include a way for existing characters to take advantage of this.

Doc MergedI totally agree - every time I boot the game I look at that character and find it hard to identify with such an ugly dude... it really breaks the beautiful aesthetic of the whole rest of the game... the characters are so out of place. I get you have a suit and helmet on much of the time and don't look at your own that much, but this area is SUPER lacking.
I don't need something really fancy, but I'd like something that looks half-way human with a few choices that actually look good... -

It would be nice to have more face models, hair models, Facial Hair, really everything. it would be nice to be able to customize the body shape as well but the other things listed are much more important. On top of the customization additions there should be some cosmetic unlocks with exotics or currency. The characters are very bland and I don't feel an attachment to mine like I do in other games. This would go a long way in the eyes of players/consumers.

Thayland MergedWe need many many more options to create unique characters for the player to identify with. Making the character extremely customizable and detailed would be a big statement towards polishing this game and making it shine. We especially need female characters that look like actual women. The suit colors, armor colors etc including camo need to be added. Thanks for all you guys have done!

Thayland MergedCharacter creation is some of that polish that would make Icarus shine. The all of the character choices are terrible. With this level of detail in this graphics engine, lets have some really nice looking characters. A unibrow female with a beard might do it for some people, but not for 99%. Choices to make characters more individualistic such as height, weight, and so many other attributes I shouldn't need to list them. Just look at the Sims or so many other games. Yes, I know you'll be wearing a helmet so you don't think it's important. I think you'd be surprised.

ThaylandUnless you give us Dwarven women with beards, I don't think you could make it worse. I know new players that tried Icarus then quit because of how the characters looked. Yes I understand that you're wearing a helmet all the time, but when I can say that EverQuest has better character customization, that's a sad statement. Rather than just complaining, here is a couple of things. You have some truly incredible artists and if you can make a world look this amazing then it should not be hard to make humans look realistic. Actually, there are so many improvements that could be made in this area, I don't know where to start. Please don't just stop at a new paint job on the character choices, do a true revamp of the creation process. It really needs it.

Thayland MergedIn every game we play, we identify ourselves as the character. It's part of getting immersed into the world. With such a spectacular world and all that Icarus offers, one of the major investments needs to be the character creation. Crafted armor should be able to be painted and decaled on a paint bench. Character creation options should be a priority that will make Icarus attract more players because right now, the artwork is pretty terrible. And that's not up to the rest of the game's standards. I have so many friends that view Icarus as a second rate game just because of the front end look of the characters and I'm like, "But you're in a space suit the whole time." They don't care. I don't know how the decisions are made on what to do and I sure don't know what you really are crafting behind the scenes, you could be working on this issue right now. I hope so. Dedicate the funds from a new building set to characters? I would.

ZyberTrackI am happy to read from an Admin that the charackter editor is still under development. That was one of the little things that disapointed me when louching the game. There is sooo much more potential in it. Doen´t need to be as complex as in SIMS or Inzoi but at least way more xD.
Another thing would be really cool if one could take off the Siute at least Inside Advanced houses by implementing a air filter system for inside the building. Would also give more options for charackter customization and "living" inside a house. Dressing up and stuff like that. this is what I like about GTA 5 for example. -

Igrid MergedHello! I really enjoy playing Icarus, but I’d love to see more character customization options, especially for female characters. Currently, their body types and animations don’t feel very feminine—they lack natural movement and proportions. For example, the running, walking, and idle animations could be more graceful and lifelike.
Here’s a reference video ( https://youtu.be/REDUiSkOnto?t=39 ) with animations that feel much more fluid and feminine. I’d love it if my character could move and look like that! Right now, customization feels limited—faces, hair, eyes, and body shapes need more variety. My character moves stiffly, almost like a ‘log,’ and I’d prefer something more expressive and realistic.

Firise MergedI know if our character had a cute face, they had become a model or actress instead. But the options we do have, are horrible. I mean, astronauts don't neccessarily have to look that ugly.
Please add some cute faces, or at least a happy one. Me as a player, I'm happy to travel to a planet where the terraforming went out of hand. I'd wear a smile exploring Aquatica Isle Outpost. -

Potato-faced player character2026... and the characters still look like indented potatoes.
"YoU cAnT sEe It In-GaMe!!1one" - My friend streams, and he can see my character's face through the tinted visor, and so can all his viewers. The options are foul.
I wasn't expecting supermodel men and women - but something a little nicer than what is in-game currently would be amazing. -
