[Bug] Some Ore nodes in caves can't be fully mined
Some ore chunks in caves can't be mined even if they are visible and you get the pickaxe icon to mine. It acts like it just hits the wall and won't finish off the node.

Ore nodes in caves and rarely outside are not getting completely mined. It will show that there's something there to mine with the pick icon, but there's nothing there. -

MICHAEL E BELL MergedDue to their placement in the ground you cannot get enough hits to finish it for the bonus, also keeping respawns from happening.
This happens with almost every stone node also, they are so large a part of them forever lives under the map. -

Vinterskorn MergedNot sure if it's intended, but there are a lot of mineral nodes that become hidden under the terrain which prevents mining of the node completely.

IAmKemble MergedThere is an Iron node in the back of a cave that can not be fully mined. The cave is located right on the line between J14 & K14. See images. There are 2 caves here, one cave has a natural opening, the other cave (where this node is) you have to discover the cave by breaking the mountain.

Guy MergedYeah I would say it just should have HP and disappear, Quickest way to fix it. The voxel, slowly disappearing node doesn't really add much and just frustrates you when you lose out on materials due to the mesh issues.

Headache MergedSome mineral nodes can’t be completely mined: nodes are almost always partially clipping through the “map” which is understandable. Problem is, when mining these, especially in the caves because of its jagged surfaces, sometimes the last little bits of that node are clipped outside of the map and can’t be reached. So you don’t get that satisfying “crunch” of the last hit of a completely mined node, you don’t get the resources and xp. I haven’t had the time to test if this affects its ability to respawn

Hazold Mergedore nodes seem to clip into the cave walls making it hard to finish the nodes. when cutting trees the wood seems to fall into the world.

Sync MergedAlmost all Iron nodes in the 3 caves I have been to have small bits of ore below the surface of the rock it is sitting on in the caves; I can see the Iron bit, but I cannot hit the Iron to depelete the node. Therefore this cave will never regenerate Iron Ore due to the small bits below the surface.

Occurs with all ore types in caves.
The mouse cursor changes to the mineable icon but swinging with the pick ax does not mine the remaining parts of the ore node. -

Charles SPlease Fix, it's very frustrating, trying to mine in a very dimmly lit cave, trying to juggle a torch and pick axe. Cause your not sure if your hitting a cave wall or a node. Or spending 30 secs dancing around a node to try and get the right angle to try and mine the last piece, just to find out is clipped outside the map and now you have pneumonia and your penalized the next 500
secs.
It just frustrating cause it's a limited and scarce resources that's hard to find or easy to run out of. And I can't clear the whole node -

Deniss Merged1. Ores spawn too deep under terrain not allowing you to fully mine it.
2. Bug with a talent that gives you 1% chance to mine whole rock. When that talent procs no matter how many items remaining rock had, you get full inventory of that item and even so you overweight like crazy you still can easily move around. My record was 487 KG of weight . -

龙啸猎血 MergedPart of the mine in the mine cannot be dug, only part of the mine can be mined, and then it will not be refreshed. Can it be changed to as long as the mine has been mined, a new mine will be forced to refresh after a certain amount of time. Originally built a home in the mine with a level 25 number, but I didn’t get a rifle for a day...

NorbuI'm not sure if it's because of different caves or because you changed something, but mining ore nodes is much worse this weekend. I even have quite a few nodes, where I can still see a few bits, but my pickaxe is not mining them.
And there is barely one node that I can fully mine this time. -

RasfrasenI would like to add, that in addition to mining issues of not being able to get all the resources and preventing the respawn of a node that it also keeps us from earning the fully mined out xp bonus when you finish a node. It's much harder to get levels at first when mining isn't a viable option when we need so much metal.

Carl MergedA lot worse in this BW (3) I would say approximately 75% of all ore in caves was not able to be mined 100%, not being able to hit the ore even though you could see it and the UI tooltip was showing the "Mine" symbol

El Diablo MergedSo if im for example mining a mineral node or a stone node in a cave or sometimes outside i cant get in that last hit that gives you more because the rest of the node is inside of the map. Mostly stone nodes outside and in the caves most of the areas you see it clearly that the nodes are embedded inside the cave itself.
