[Bug] Exposure to wind storm when underwater
I hope it is not designed on purpose that player is exposed to wind storm when submerged. I agree to be exposed to thunderstorm with lightning when under water, but wind.

Lightning strike in water should then electrocute you. But yes wind should not affect you underwater. -

Graeme MergedAlthough a nearby lightning strike could still cause damage no amount of wind or rain should penetrate a body of water. You should be safe from the storm if you hide underwater. You may still get cold or other debuffs though.

cmopatrickFor that matter, other than the electrical storms, water should be a safe haven from Icarus storms. Maybe level 6 or 7 heat storms in the desert might have an impact, but wind or rain storms? Really? I do doubt the devs plan to revisit this, but it is a glaring inconsistency to be at the bottom of a lake (looking for caves) and have to build a shelter to protect from a wind or rain storm.

OscarMaybe for the highest tier storms we could keep it. Strong currents caused by sudden movement of water on the surface and whirlpools. But the small storms doesn’t make much sense to damage anyone. As long you’re fully submerged

CarolineI got exposure damage when I was on Styx in underwater caves in J7.
I was inside a cave that I had to swim through a tunnel to get to and I still got exposure damage. -

PhilosopherCan I just remark how funny it is for somebody called "Windy" to post about exposure to wind?
There's a bunch of open issues about storm/exposure damage underwater, enough for an admin to spend some time merging should the urge hit.
As for me, it would be interesting if the player can dive into a lake and go deep enough to avoid getting caught in a storm event. Adds a new way to find cover. -
