[Suggestion] Bed respawn should back up to another bed if the spawnpoint one is destroyed
If Bed B is the spawnpoint, and is destroyed or picked up by the player, an earlier Bed A should be used as the assigned spawnpoint.
At least for solo play.

John RansonThis possibly would have helped a bug I reported were a quest point I would die and re-spawning sent me through the world. I have multiple beds in multiple caves on the way to the scanning point

KingLott MergedWhen I die the bed does not allow a respawn. The beds do not get destroyed or picked up. Is there anyone else having this issue.

munt MergedIf I die at my base and it gets destroyed in the process to which it is no longer being considered a shelter for the bed. It will give me the warning that I will have to respawn at a random location, lose XP, etc. Yet when I agree it will still respawn me at my bed.

Mark MergedWhen respawning at your bedroll it doesn't spawn you on top of the bed safely. Which leads to problems when you have a campfire next to your bedroll and land on it in a wooden building. ;) Please fix so we respawn directly on the bedroll and not to the side so we don't burn down our buildings by respawning.

GeorgeTotally agree, bed rolls get damaged and disappear and you always have other bed rolls in other camps or caves in case you pass by again and they should be persistent and never destroyed and respawn should ALWAYS allow you to respawn to ANY bed roll on the map.

Can you make the sespawn bed sequential so if we lose the last one we sespawn at the most recent intact bed. Going back to the landing reqion when you lose the last bed is just tedious. -

Imhotep MergedJust an idea ... What if there was an option for a "Revive Orb", Giving the player an instant revive from their death location, or similar? For when a player doesn't have a bed or their house burns down, then they die on the opposite side of the map of their drop ship. Especially if you play solo. . Maybe purchasable from the workshop for exotics?!

Darena BryantThe first bed you craft and place should automatically register as your respawn point. If you are in the game solo, any further beds you place should work as redundant points. If someone joins you, they should need to set their respawn.

PyroId like to see it more of a bed spawn system like Conan Exiles.
You have a bed you can spawn at or you can have 1 bedroll / MXC cot to spawn at. Next bedroll placed would destroy / invalidate the prevous one but you would retain the bed at your base at all times as a fall back. -

LetsDoThisSimilar concept, I think if you have 0 beds (native) and then place a bed, you should automatically respawn at that bed or bedroll. And if a second is placed, then you can have options to change it.

НиколайThere's no need to casualize the game. There used to be no mounts, and we'd die at the end of the map, or run around 10 times, and no one would complain. Please don't consider this.

Ryan MergedIf you have multiple beds with shelter/fire/etc. and forget to assign your respawn to the one you want and then die half way across the map, it is very frustrating to walk all the way back.

Eventide MergedThis is a tricky one, b/c allowing selection of where to respawn would open up an exploit, where players willfully suicide as a form of instant travel. Perhaps it could work if it had a real-time one day countdown between each use of "select bed (from list or map) to respawn."
