[Suggestion] Keep mouse cursor in center of screen when opening inventories
The (hidden) cursor will move around on the screen while you are not in inventories and look around. When you decide to open inventories, the cursor is likely to be at a new point on the screen every time, or even at the very edge of the screen, often causing you to lose track of the cursor.
It would be a good idea if this cursor movement could be removed while not in inventories, or if the cursor was centered when inventories were opened.

Frankie DavisThis is a BIG thing for me. It makes it feel SUPER doplic when the mouse doesnt reset to the center where the aim point is when you open other menus, inv, etc. Not fun

Sadboy Mergedcursor should be reset to centre (a la Apex Legends and such) or arrested in location (a la MOBA games) each time the menus are opened/closed. Currently cursor motion is completely unarrested.

Squeekit MergedWhen closing/opening inventory or tech ui the mouse cursor is typically at the bottom of my screen. My suggestion would be to have the cursor automatically relocate to the same position (middle of screen)

Zach K MergedI do not know if it is purely because I'm so used to it in other games or what exactly but I find myself assuming that the mouse cursor starts in the center of the screen when I open my inventory or some storage container. I feel that setting the cursor to the center would help normalize the UI interaction. At least personally, its a lot easier for me to quickly transfer items if I know where my mouse is starting, and with it not being set to 0,0 when you open an inventory the cursor can be literally anywhere. Sometimes I spend 2 or 3 seconds just searching for where the cursor is.

sWi7zLe MergedOne of the most frustrating things I find about this game (apart from the skinning bench mechanics which are utterly ridiculous - match the shape of the rabbit, to the rabbit!)... is when I'm trying to skin something but cannot see me cursor!
It's not so bad at 1080p where the cursor is a reasonable size, but at 4k or just under, it's tiny!
I've lost count of how many times I've entered the animal looting page only to hear an enemy racing towards me... but i can't find my cursor to simply click "Take All".
Especially in snow! Cursor is white and tiny and somewhere on the screen... is that a Polar Bear I can hear charging towards me? Awesome!
Would it be possible for the cursor to load by default on this button?
Not in a random place, somewhere on the screen!
Similar to what Cyberpunk does when you die and you don't have to drag your mouse to the bottom left of the screen to continue.
Cheers -

Dexinition MergedA little bug but important as its the wlcome screen : just trying to select the option to the game, the cursor do not fit to the selected option, it work like 2 cm under the option (red tag on the screen is the cursor position to activate the option)
I use a 2560x1440 widescreen monitor, maybe its related to this settings. -

SwareDNB MergedHello,
I was thiking about a mouse cursor reset to center of the screen every time you open an inventory.
It's kinda annoying to search for it every time you open the window, because even if you can't see it while playing, it is there invisible and moving around. And depending where it ends up before you open the inventory screen, there it appears and you have to search for it.
Thank You. -

StefanAnnoying always to search the small green cursor on the inventory screen.

quentinbarnes MergedWhenever you click on something that opens a menu, the mouse is in a random spot on the screen and it can be hard to find it right away. When you open a menu it should be in the center of the screen so you can navigate quicker.

cmopatrick MergedCompletely agree. On a 4k monitor it is almost invisible at least half the time when going into a menu or create screen.

NamVetMedic MergedThe pointer needs to be automatically snapped back over the action button to quickly act! Also in the Inventory Screen_ ALL activity should halted in preventing IE: animal attacks ETC.

Vasillios MergedWhenever you interact with something and the menu pops out. 1) It's very difficult to find the cursor. 2) The cursor follows your first person's view (e.g. if you looked down before interacting, the cursor will be at the bottom of the screen, somewhere). 3) I spend more time looking for the cursor everytime I interact than crafting things. 4) Finding the cursor while you're in a pinch is not a pleasent experience. 5) Finding your cursor by swinging it in many directions to see it on your screen whenever you interact is frustrating/a pain. Suggestion: 1) Option to centre the mouse cursor whenever you interact and menu pops up 2) Option to configure your mouse cursor's properties (e.g. Size, shapw, colour, etc).

GeorgeI have made multiple requests for cursors to be added to game as ALL games have cursor settings or at least a cursor big enough to see in ALL situations. You have ignored these requests, and you are getting allot of complaints and suggestions about the cursor not being visible, to small, lost on screen. The only cursor is a very small dot that is white which blends into most everything on the screen. Players have died so many deaths and have gotten frustrated just because of the cursor issues. Can you PLEASE make this a priority and listen to customer feedback about this issue and give us a larger cursor and some basic choices on what kind of cursor we want and different colours so we can see it in different biomes and base on weather!!!!!!!!! PLEASE!!!! And a very appreciative big THANKYOU!!!

GeorgeMouse Click isse getting progressively worse. Bought 3 different mouse & they all have same issue, click not registering trying to shoot, mine, chop, etc. With mining & chopping, I have to move cursor off object & move back to get register click. Lately I have to do this more than once. Sometimes have to start swing before I put cursor on object to hit object using pick or axe. The WORST is the bow. To the point where have to dodge up to 4-6 times before click to register on bow to shoot when fighting bear. PLEASE FIX ASAP!!!!!!!!!! Community has screamed over & over about this issue. REMEMBER: 1 person reporting equals many players. Many do not take time to report issue & just live with it like I have been doing since game came out, until now. Just getting to point of being unplayable game because of this issue. Thanks!!!!

Bedil_Juling MergedPlease change the cursor color or make it bigger or both or maybe reset the cursor to the center of the screen everytime we open the inventory or skill menu from controlling the character but don't reset it when we are switching between inventory to skill tree or etc.
I have trouble finding the cursor every time I open the inventory. Right now the cursor is too small and the color match the background. I'm playing in Ultrawide 3440x1440 is hard to spot where the cursor soon as I open the inventory -

Philip Howard MergedThis would be especially helpful for those with high resolution or wide monitors. It’s almost like a mini game, try to find the cursor to click take all! Lol

TaryngarTo add to this, if you're in windowed mode, the fact that the mouse isn't constrained at all (let alone to the center of the screen where your equipment cursor is) means that it will randomly fall off the window, resulting in you clicking on other applications, or resizing the game window. Unfortunately, if you're streaming and you have an ultrawide monitor, you pretty much have to play in windowed mode to maintain the traditional 16:9 aspect for Twitch, or have ridiculous letterboxing.
Another huge vote for adding constraining the mouse to the center of the screen when you're not in a menu or inventory window, so it can't wander off.
