[Suggestion] In-game todo list and recipe pin
A way to pin recipes in game so you can know how much material you need to gather in order to craft everything so you can remind yourself at a glance how much you need to farm.

Elissa - Producer Admin PinnedUnfortunately, we have had an internal conversation and it has been declined by the CEO himself. That's not to say we can't reopen it in the future, but we like to close off tickets that we've had conversations about internally and decided against. We use the tags to avoid having to write comments on every ticket we close, but happy to explain our reasoning where needed!

Dave MergedOnce a certain recipe had been crafted / certain buff or debuff experienced I would like to be able to look it up again without having to actually get it. For instance, when eating food if I am trying to maximize health pool I could reference an in-game database that would allow me to see the benefits of each type. ( That I already have knowledge of)

JustEndl MergedIt would be a nice QOL feature if we could track a recipe or two on our HUD. This would be most helpful for recipes that you can only look at the ingredients for at the production bench that is required to build it.

fsBrain MergedI want to be able to something-click on a recipe i want to build and have my HUD track what I need. Once i close the bench I tend to forget what i am doing and end up shooting another deer

BlackLotus MergedAny recipe at any crafting station should be able to be pinned to the HUD. Showing how many of the ingredients required you have/need according to your inventory.
Satisfactory does this really well, for reference, even summing up total material costs if you pin several recipes and unpinning automagically when you construct the pinned recipe. -

K MergedOften when crafting I'll find that i have to go back to the crafting bench I'm using to check what i need. Or scroll around in the tech tree for the recipe. It would be nice to have the ability to pin a recipe onto my screen for reference.

Cody MergedLove the layers of crafting in this game, but it makes it hard to memorize what items require materials to craft. Since there is a kind of "Groundhog Day" approach to the progression in the game and we have to craft the same things over and over; given the ability to pin a list of materials needed (top right corner for example) to craft a particular item will make sifting through storage to get the materials much faster. This will lead to less back and forth between crafting and inventory to make sure you are gathering the correct mats. Less stress on the UI grind and more time spent actually crafting and enjoying the game!
A good game to reference for this mechanic would be Subnautica. It saves a little time and a TON of frustration. -

Venducati MergedHere's one I'd love to see in this games UI: Task list for current workbench item that you're trying to build so that you have an running idea as to what you need. No more digging into your benches to try and find out..."Now how many Iron Ingots did I need to build an Anvil, etc...etc...etc."
Talk about streamlining the UX.
So, I'd go to my workbench of choice and click on that item and it would 'ck box it' and then post a tasker list in the right-hand side of the UI panel along with mission items task list.
Once I have completed the tasker for that buildable/workbench item; then it would auto-clear itself both in the right-hand side UI panel and also in that respective workbench/workbenches instance.
I would find this type of feature useful in the solo/outpost mode especially.
When you don't have a partner helping you and you're on your own. This would allow instant access to the information while out in the field by ones self. -

Brian MergedIt would be great with so many benches and so many materials to be able to track a specific build so you can remember easier. Sometimes at the Tier 4 I check back on what I need numerous times while I make one part or another.

If you are setting our to be able to create a certain blueprint item, being able to create a side bar for the items you need and the game checks them off as they enter your inventory as opposed to just in the bench to create the item (Like adding items to the crafting bench and the item getting highlighted in only the crafting bench) -
