[Suggestion] Choose Player Arrow and Map Marker Colors
I want to start this off by saying I don't mind if we don't get custom colors, but each player is assigned a color based on the order they join the game. I just think it'd be nice if we got to choose what color we have, or change in the middle of the game, so long as that color is not taken already.
The use for this is that my friends and I tend to be color coded, so it makes navigating the map a bit tricky at times figuring out what color each of us ended up and having to remember that for our map markers and our player arrows.

SkylarI have problems seeing some colors over others. It would be nice to be able to pick what color we are for our map markers and such.

Grouik03 MergedHi. After 30h of game i have 2 suggestions: 1/ Have the possibility to change to color of the cursor in the map. Because if you have any problems (color blindness) it's very complicate to see your position. 2/ Have the possibility to add beacon on the map for mark the emplacement of the cave or point of interest. Thank you.

RobJust started it up again and remembered why I didn't like it. Literally the smallest problem. I'm color blind and cannot see the red arrow on the overview map. Please make it so you can change the color. My friends are white/Blue etc and easy to see but I cannot see mine and it makes it annoying trying to hunt for it. Otherwise great game.

DanielSolo players face a serious accessibility issue because the player marker in the map defaults to red. Outside of the tundra biome, red on brown contrast is way too low. If you're aiming for WCAG compliance or similar, this would be an automatic fail.

Sander Houttekierstarted playing yesterday. been struggling with the map solo up till now. but even in co-op, i just had trouble finding that 1 friend (yes the red one).
low contrast difference between the red and most green on the starter map is a problematic situation for anyone with these variations of colorblind. tbh. most things in Icarus are fine, we or at least i am not asking for a full color blind mode or anything, just the options to change things like the color fo the red player :)
I'm pushing the request here, as this request is now open for about 3,5 years, hoping this would still eventually get in the game. -

MagrueI spent 10 minutes looking for my mount yesterday because I couldn't see the white arrow on the map in the arctic. I'm able to change the color of my reticle, how about being able to change the color of map arrows and other in game text?
