[Suggestion] Ability to recycle station items on station
My station stash is filling up with items I no longer use. Add ability for the prospector to destroy/sell/recycle station items when they are at the station. The prospector will get back some REN and/or Exotics when this happens, but definitely not full value. Research costs will not be refunded, just item creation costs.

Rimtuuk MergedThere should be a way to sell the workshop items that we no longer need back to the workshop. For example I still have that first suit in my inventory that I had to buy before the 1/21/22 changes to the workshop. There should be someway of selling it instead of it gathering dust in my inventory.

JS1HUNDRED MergedI am starting to get a build up of extra items in my loadout window. I never touch them. We should be able to destroy them or 'sell' to get some currency back.

LurchUSA MergedPlease add the ability to sell back workshop items, previously built. Selling back an item will give the player 50% of the total of ( Ren + Exoctics * 5 ) back to the users total, in Ren.
This will allow the player to get back half of the resources they spent on creating the item, when they upgrade to better versions. -

MrTomAKYes please... got a lot of "junk" that I made use of early on... now it is filled with gear! ... especially because I outfitted three characters with gear ... and have upgraded them over time! :-)

cmopatrick MergedNot sure that I agree with 50%, but even a craigslist type deduction for wear and tear would bring back maybe 15 to 20 % of the original value and clean out the closets without having to just take stuff down to the planet to leave it.

Tim B MergedWe currently have so many new items to choose from in the workshop that space in the inventory at the station is almost full... Cluttered with old envirosuits, tools, weapons, that we will probably never use again but, we are unable to simply destroy them to make room for newer more updated items, my suggestion is to enable us to simply right click on older no longer used items as noted above and destroy them thereby making room for the things we will use, thanks in advance

Peter MergedEspecially with the new changes related to loadouts related to the recent decentralization patch, the inventory of workshop items is getting cluttered particularly with some of the lower grade purchased items that have been replaced on my loadouts by upgraded versions. It would be useful to be able to sell or remove some of the items that I no longer have need of.

have a recycler that breakdown for more (rust recycler was a great machine) in additional the recycler could breakdown fallen spacedebris, salvage etc into useful resources. proably be best added when POIs get added like crashsites, meteorites, abandon installations etc... perhaps even have salvage/recycled armor and weapons -

SuperTThis has been an issue since Beta. Currently I take the items from the workshop that are no longer needed and drop down on a mission dump them on the planet then leave. When I get back to the station I just settle the items left on the mission destroying them. I can not do this with unwanted envirosuits though as you can not put them into your loadout.
Another annoyance is that the workshop inventory can not be sorted and is just a mess. -

Abbrams Merged100% agree, it would be great if we could favourite items also. I've been taking down left over to a new prospect, dropping them, leaving planet then deleting them from the workshop loadout screen. Only way to do it until they fix.

Star Centurion MergedYou've added the ability to buy basic resource packs from the Workshop. They're a little pricey, but in a pinch and for a veteran player, I suppose they are worth the Ren for the convenience they offer. One way to simplify various other resource balance issues, would be to allow players to sell resources to the station for Ren. The primary bottleneck on getting all the "good stuff" from the workshop, is Exotics. You can't exchange Ren for Exotics, so I don't think it's much threat to the overall Workshop economy to allow Ren to serve as a basic resource exchange tool through it. Obviously, selling to the Workshop wouldn't be as efficient as buying from it - perhaps 2 or 3 times the resource per Ren, but any exchange factor alleviates frustrations of "I have just too much of this... but can't find any of that."

StefanDestroying workshop items finally works now.
I personally don't need to sell something because there is enough Ren and Exotics in the game to buy everything.
If the devs don't plan to implement selling workshop items this can be put on DONE. -

Iceman_dkI have so many map marker beacons from all the scan missions I have done. Some I can re-use (rename and set icon) but most is just a pin icon and no option to rename. Either let us re-use the beacon from mission/operation scans, sell back or let it disassemble in the fabricator or repair bench (does have workshop items too)

PhilosopherI would suggest an all-purpose incinerator which can be built on-world and can destroy anything thrown into it. Been hoping for that for so long as I always have to install chutes to dump excesses. Still, right-clicking and destroying should not be that hard. We can already right-click and repair armor and weapons, right?

JWe need a feature like satisfactory has where certain items can be recycled for points and traded in for unique cosmetic items that don't have any real impact on the game.
