[Suggestion] Mini map
It would be awesome to have a mini map on the HUD so we don't have to stop just to look at the map. So much easier to just glance up in the corner of the screen rather than stop and pull up the map. Especially when you're with a friend.

When traveling with team mates it's annoying having to stop, pull up the map to see where to go / where team mates are, and continue walking/running again. -

Terry MergedGoing back and forth to the Map is a bit of a pain, to make sure you are going in the right direction, it would be much better if there was a MiniMap in the top corner so you could see where you are.
Is it possible to consider adding this as a feature, rather than having to switch back to the map all the time?
The Map also takes quite a few seconds to update the fog of war too, when you go into a new area. -

ich würde mich über eine Mini Map im Spiel freuen . oben rechts oder so im Spielbildschirm.
Dann merke ich noch an das Eisbären die Steine im Gletschergebiet kaputt hauen . Die dicken Felsbroken,wo soll ich dann Schutz suchen wenn die nicht halten ? Sie gucken sogar mit dem Kopf durch die Felswände. Bitte ändert das . Wenn ich sterbe und neu respawne habe ich trotzdem noch alle Schnittwunden und Krankheiten ,da ich aber tot gegangen bin müssten die weg sein .
Bitte ändert die Gämse in Ziege. Das Wort meine ich vieleicht ist das ja machbar ?
Macht weiter so ihr seit ein tolles Team ,bleibt alle gesund -

Kyle MergedMinimap is very standard in the industry and should be easy to implement. I started playing solo and toggling the big map (which stops your movement) to see where you are going is a pain but now I'm playing with two friends, we frequently have to stop and check the map to locate other folks near us.

Wardaddy MergedI vote to have this option to toggle off/on. This will be crucial to more yet to come difficult mission Icarus (DEVs) in the future. I would hate to be mauled by an alien bc I looked at my map like a tourist. lol

Following the top navigation bar is not as good as a proper mini map which shows mountain formations etc. Would be especially good when you are running fast trying to follow teammates and they disappear in bushes etc. or they have a faster running speed than you do. If you have to stop and consult the map, you end up way behind.

Michael Marshall MergedI would like to see a small mini map added to the screen, maybe somewhere in the top left hand corner. Doesn’t have to be big. Would be nice to see a small map/hud instead of having to stop to look at the map and then take off running again.

TerryPlease add a Minimap - this game really needs one. Going back and forth to the main map especially in Multiplayer is a real pain.

Also adding other player markers (not talking about their pin) to the HUD so you can what direction they are in easily. So easy to wonder off from each other when in a mission, like in the riverlands or forrest, you have to keep going back to the map to see where they are, and try and direct yourself over to them again. Both a Minimap and a tweak to the HUD would solve this. -

DesymooI personally believe that a minimap would just clutter up their very clean UI and change the survival dynamic a bit too much. Since the main complaint seems to be the difficultly in locating team mates I think the easiest solution is simply to add player markers to the compass at the top of the screen. You could also add the ability to move while the menu is open, those two things would take care of almost all of the above complaints without changing the dynamic of the game in any way.

TendisMahlTotally need a dynamic map view of some kind to track fellow players when running through the brush or pathfinding around cliffs and water.
I could see having a translucent full-screen display like Iron Man, kind of rounded at the edges as if it’s being projected on your helmet visor, that you can toggle on and off. That way you can flick it on while running like a madman through the brush but you wouldn’t want to keep it on all the time.
Oh, and consider lowering the cost of portable beacons if that’s how you want to implement allowing us to add more than one mark to the map. And the ability to label them, please. Colorable too? -
