[Bug] Not able to rotate camera anymore when dead

Yannick MergedSince the last update, you can't look around anymore when spectating a fellow player while unconscious. The view doesn't even rotate with the spectated player, just fixed in one direction.
(would understand if it just followed the view of the player to prevent helping, but sticking to one direction is bad) -

Tim BI agree It's irritating that you can't tell a teammate if there are threats around you or not when they are coming to revive you...
Also you can't rotate camera when spectating a teammates view on their way to save you... -

Megan LYes, please bring this back. It was nicer to be able to look around and tell a teammate if they were near us and what direction.

RemcoStops working once you use the map, it seems. Before that you can rotate.

MiraYes, it stops when you use the map once. After that you cannot rotate the camera, once you are dead.

KrisYeah, used to be a lovely feature to be able to look around when unconscious - Can't think why they would keep u at a static camera angle now!

Bryan MergedI don't know if I'm alone on this, but I really miss being able to spin the camera around my dead body while waiting to be revived. I'm not sure if there was a reason that it was switched to a stationary camera angle, but it would be great if we could be free to look around again

NBTSESH MergedWhile in the death camera view, all I see is an odd side view or a view under the map/into cliff faces etc. I also have no option to rotate the camera to properly see what my friends are doing when coming to revive me. In summary, it just seems broken (likely a result of one of the updates) and unfortunately leaves me with a boring slot of time where I'm sat looking at nothing while waiting to be rescued.

boxenknecht MergedThe same here. But this has been going on for some time. I've only been playing Icarus for 9 weeks, but since then it's been like that.
BUT what I found out, if I wasn't on the map before (not at all in the session), I can move the camera freely. If I then go to the map, the camera view is fixed sideways again as soon as I leave the map. Maybe this will help to find the error. -

George Mergedhaving same issue. When dead, you only look in one directions and cannot look around or change camera view like we used to last year in the game. Some update broke all of this. Also, when you spectate another player, all you see is a colored screen and the players name and Icon above his head. But cannot see anything else and you can hear all the sounds, but no display like before.

noobcakefl MergedPretty much what the title says, when i'm dead/downed i can look around the environment around my body with the mouse but once I click M for the map and then go back i can no longer look around and the camera is in a fixed position, logging out of the mission and then back in fixes the bug

Keith Clayton MergedIt has come to my attention that while playing the game, if at anytime I use the map, I lose the ability to rotate my camera or free look upon my death. I am still able to spectate the other players in the server but I cannot rotate the camera. The camera doesn't even follow their line of sight. I'm simply stuck looking in the direction I was already looking when I fell unconscious.

Swung MergedDuring the "Unconscious" screen, while spectating other players, add control to rotate the camera, currently this is not possible, and this makes it difficult to actually spectate other players. For example, if another player is inside a building with a ceiling 1 wall above the floor, often the camera is locked at a height where all you are able to see is the roof, also if players are running in certain directions all you can see is the tops of their heads and the ground behind them. Seeing as if you're waiting to be revived, the only form of "gameplay" is to spectate, this feature should be hammered out.

kevin c Mergedso while playing icarus with my friend doing a crazed hunt mission i was knocked down, as was my friend. he respawned, I wanting to see how far away he was pulled up the map with m. then I noticed I could no longer pan my camera to see around me, it became static.

AdamThis is reproducible every time, if I die I can move the camera around on myself or any other character. Only once I open the map does this cause the camera not to be rotatable.
