[Suggestion] Portal between locations
With the new big Olympus outpost, it would be great to have a way to construct a teleport device to move from a house to another one.
Another option would be to add vehicles, the ability to tame a horse and mount it or anything that could make us move faster when traveling far away

Definitelly not teleports, that would totally break the game. Something more immersive like a small helicopter that would need fuel, some maintenance and would require some skill to pilot. Actually i wold like to see fully realistic helicopter simulation, but i understand that i will not get that in game like this, so i would settle on anything that would fly at least a bit believable, and require at least some skill to fly. -

JanaI also think a teleport would be too game breaking or at least doesnt fit the vibe of the game for me. Yes you have rockets ans space ships but we also have that in real life, but we do not have teleport (at least as far as I know :P). Therefore I like your helicopter idea a lot better! But let me interject: Jet Packs! You could pack those to Tier 4 and make them cost a lot. and go into the backpack slot so you cant carry a lot (which would make sense, can't really carry 300kg of stone with a jet pack).
Sadly my husband stopped playing the Prometheus map with me, because we have made it to the shelter in the Null Zone, but you have to walk a million miles to get back to our base in the grasslands and he hates it. I tried to connect grasslands with nullzone over the mountains with plattforms, beams and stairs, but that was not possible since the mountains dont have structure at a certain hight anymore. A jetpack or something similar would bring him to play again! -

CognitivPersonnaly I'm against portals. If you add them, this game will become a "connect/go to portal/gather minerals/go portal" like. And everyone will loose the pleasure of journeys. This game is becoming easier and easier each year. There is no fear anymore.

CoretallessI think addi g an option to the drop pod to travel another region of the map would be good fix for this issue. Like to are in the forest and start wet work. So if the drop pod would have a travel to Riverlands option where it doesn't delete your gear. When not in mission you have a travel to and number of options including is the docs are purchased to change maps.

LianailThis wouldn't be consistent with the drop pods you have to use to get down to the planet. Why not have the drop pod drop a teleporter to the station?

PhilosopherI am a big supporter of teleportation portals to make the game more fun. Just make the electricity demand very high, make it 2 floors high and it has to be built indoors. Something like 1 million power for 10 seconds at both sites. That means players need to build a lot of batteries (or nuclear power plants) and they need to wait for it to recharge, so they can't effectively use it to teleport resources around or build a portal at every deep mining drill. It would take planning and resources to build and use them.
