  My friend had this problem while his server hosted as well, seems it's a known issue with Intel Processors

  I've had the exact same bug, when the game previously ran fine.
  Every time I try and drop into a mission, even on the lowest graphics settings, I get this:
  
  I stepped away from the game for a few months and I come back to it being unplayable. I last played shortly after carts were added in update 56, back in Jan/Feb.
  
  Not very happy to find the game is borked now. :-(

  There are several reports on Steam too. One from me about GeForce Now not being able to handle the game at all, even though their hardware is more than capable of running the game on Epic settings. But it crashes in dx11 and dx12 irrelevant of settings. I'll post a few reports from Steam here.

  I have always gotten the occaisional out of Video Memory crash. Sometimes after 10 minutes, sometimes it wouldn't happen for close to an hour. Since the latest patch it seems to happen far more frequently. I don't really get more than 10 to 15 minutes before it crashes.

  got similar things with my 12GB radeon rx 6700xt...no matter the settings i can set everything to low and it still runs out, strangely after a reboot it works for way longer but why? why does watching a youtube video fill up my video memory so the game cant run and other games dont have that problem?

  No page file? People seem keen to disable the swap file entirely "to protect their SSD" or whatever. My friend did exactly this. Crashes either with "out of video memory" or some other way. He has a 3090.

  love this game, but when we play 3 or more player i keep getting out of video memory. we keep getting kicked just as we log in.

  Yeah i had the same thing happen yesterday in multiplayer and hosting. I have a Ryzen 9 7900X CPU, 32GB RAM, AMD Radeon RX 9060 XT GPU with 16 GB VRAM. Played for longer than a day with no issue, then played on a second day and this error happened. It does seem to be totally random so far.

  I have 32Gb of RAM and RTX4090 and see this!
  I saw this problem all the time on the star until I enable swap up to 10Gb, but the message say nothing about swap!

  Yep, this happens to me, too- It's actually happened for as long as I've been playing, which is November of last year. Only since the update that caused a respawn off all trees and rocks (whichever one that was, but not the Mendel update), I get <20 FPS at my base on Styx and a consistent crash every 1-5 minutes upon loading in with this very same Out of Memory error. My base is sizable, but nowhere NEAR as big as some I've seen. I have taken every performance step the YouTube videos have suggested and this still happens. My buddy who plays with me is perfectly fine, but when he tried hosting my world using his own PC, he ran into the same lagging and crashing as me. It seems to be a host issue. Currently my save is practically bricked and unless something can be done about this I'm probably just going to have to abandon it, sadly. :(
  
  Not sure what files to upload here. Seems enough people already have this issue. If there is anything that might help, lemme know.
