[Suggestion] Mount Armor and Food slot
With how easy it is for mounts to die it would be nice to have Mount armor and a Food lost and or water slot since its almost impossible to get them to drink.

GeorgeI am finding mount mechanics makes mounts in the game undesirable. It take too much time hunting for food for them cause they eat the food way to fast, especially when you have more than one. I feel the food consumption mechanics is way to high for the mounts. They should not be eating so much so fast. Not sure if other feel the same. Need to have a way to give them feed that last longer, being able to feed them by hand wa a good addition. But while you are out riding animals will graze on their own and drink water too. You need to add this mechanic to the mounts that thye forage food and drink water while they are out and about being riden.

GeorgeI have also watched the mounts eat and see no change in the level of food health. I put in one pumpkin, one melon, and one carrot. The buffalo mount ate it all and no change in food level remained at 58%. Then I added a multiple stack of edible bush food, 14 pcs and the health went to all the way 100%. Other time it appears food disappears more rapidly than others. Not consistent. Food disappears quickly. So I think allot of food is being wasted by mounts consuming it but it is not adding to their food buff so food may be getting consumed to quickly as a result.

snowsinger MergedA feedbag/waterbag for your animals to use without lugging around troughs. Also, armor for your pets, as almost all wild animals are much higher level than your pets max level.

TheShadowKnives Mergeddefinitely agree with armor for pets. As they are now, it's basically impossible to keep them alive during a long journey, as a few good hits from a predator will kill them. :(

SparksI think would add new features to game.
New crafting for armour and biomes bonus.
Plus a cart slot for bovine or farm equipment.
Craft-able food for animal and water.

It would be interesting to add armor to craft for the mounts, for example spikes or something else so that it increases their defense and attack statistics.

Davy Jones MergedWould love to see an armor system for mounts and pets. ( this is slightly touched upon with Laika jumpsuit. ) Something to increase their survivability like Resistances and Maximum Health, and/or maybe a headpiece that'll increase melee damage and a chance to apply a bleed.
Have a Slimmer leather armor for Moas, increasing Movement Speed in Stamina Region. Working up to Titanium armor for your Tusker, so he can fight more reliably on your side with the new world bosses -
