[Error] 028 - Game not letting me join my friend
Whenever I try loading the game to get on with a buddy of mine I get error code 028, and it kicks me back to the main menu. Tried to join his server dozens of times, and not once have we gotten it to work.

mel0r1c MergedHi, I tried to connect with my friends in a prospection but i can't join them. They can play together but not with me. We are all in the same build : RÉV. 1.2.24.103878-SHIPPING-STYX STYX (at the moment of the post). I tried everythings i found on internet (change download region on steam, verify updates and drivers, check if I have programs like Asus GameFirst and disable it, switch to wired or wifi connections). I can play offline single, all is good. Is it possible to help me please ? Thanks in advance mel0r1c

Elissa - Producer AdminHi there, we have a dev looking into this currently. Try verifying your Steam files, and keep trying to join him as it should work the second time you try. If you could send me your game files in a zip to pass onto the dev that would be useful. What happens before you get the error code? We need more information in order to help you and fix the issue for other people. Thanks!

Elissa - Producer Admin MergedHi there, please try verifying your files and making sure you're on the same version as the host. The 028 issue generally goes away after a few tries so keep trying! Thanks.

Fonzie (ingame Araknos level 50)Have it too much time ... from today, even several tries does not succeed.
To formarly explain, I just open the game click on my character I used to play with my friend, select joint, select his party, and after a few minutes I got this error :(

MickhaelI love that game... I'm addicted to the large beautiful views from Styx area, the beautiful forests and critters.
All is ended last week after last update. When I open a mission and invite, my colleague enter and receive after few minute error 028, when he open and invite me I receive 028. Is not directly... play few minutes, and it happening. And became more and more often, till the game became unplayable.
We verify the files from Steam and restart PC, we reinstall the game, we re-enter in the mission. Nothing works. We both have very good 1Gbps internet connection, and our configurations are above recommended.
It is so... so frustrating.
If you need more info please let me know exactly what you need.
That is the second time when I stopped playing ICARUS. First time was with the new weather forecast system.
Hope you will not ignore that matter that affect a lot of players, from what I found on Reddit or Steam. Please... please help. -
