[Suggestion] Aliens or wild animals hunting at night
I think aliens or an inteligent enemy wild make it scary fun and add more difficulty to survival, something that hunts you down. Watching another starship coming and aliens trying to kill you will make this gsme perfect

I support this idea, for the night should be dark and full of terrors.
(Even if they are not getting you every time, they should be rustling around, howling and making their presence known.)
There is always the possibility to sleep through the night at your base. -

Jello MergedI'm loving the game so far but i miss some sort of deeper threat level. It's a bit cliché to make the nights more difficult but you can skip them if you want so i'm thinkin let the mutant animals come to live when the night falls so that it can get a bit more crazy out there. I'm missing some more dangerous elements in the game.

Kia oraI like this idea, other than the other ships. IMO the game is set too close to our future to see alien starships in close variety . HOWEVER, maybe add an indigenous population that wasn't found by the first cohort, they should be like the Na'vi from Avatar. Not in design, but in their way of life. Add small indigenous camps, outposts and wandering groups. They should have bows, arrows and knives that are unique to their people. These items could just be cosmetic (or maybe not), but either way, the indigenous equipment should be able to be looted and used, but NEVER crafted, it adds to the uniqueness of the tools.
With this, the indigenous people should also hunt us, adding to the fear of the planet. They should always be hostile, as they see us as invaders who tried to terraform their planet. This addition would make the planet feel alive and lived in, but also add to the fear of the new and dangerous planet. -

VyperThis I really like, Aliens at night, normal animals during the day! This way we get to keep the animals already in game, would need some sorta night gear though, night vision etc.

Ferran sardar galmes100%. We need a variety of enemies which make us feel uneasy and on edge to make exploring more interesting and having to be careful with specific threats (you could have an enemy which had some sort of camuflage, another which hunted purely at night etc.. which could allow for the addition of a night vision/head sensor visor for night time threats)

Darena BryantThere is a lot of nighttime travel I find myself doing, so I'm not too sure on this one. ^^; Honestly, adding in that I get hunted or attacked at night all the time would make this feel a bit TOO stressful, and would turn a single day/night trip into either several days of travel (boring), get me attacked and maybe killed at night frequently, especially considering the amount of map clutter (frustrating), or force me to pepper the landscape with little safe houses (laggy). I'd prefer this to be less of a 'git gud' game, and more of a basic survival game. Getting attacked all night would be kinda horrible, I think, and pretty much rule out me doing anything at night. And imagine if they are truly hunting you and hostile, coming to your base and attacking it all night long, doing massive damage and breaking everything.

RyanI would add a difficulty level where night is not skippable with the higher threats as described above. I think there should be extra reward of XP and maybe certain animals or resources can only be collected at night. I think Dying Light did a decent job at this. The base defense aspect would be super cool, having more defense options from tier 1-4 would force you to get enough done during the day to survive at night.

FalconburgerHow about a random creature that gets dropped in a pod, and it only happens at night if you don’t skip it. Create a collection of slightly mutated whatever’s or use the existing special critters (dare I say quarrites) . Don’t drop it on the base, make it land quite some distance away. Let it wander…. Now imagine you’re up late crafting and you see some random coloured fireball fall from the sky in the distance… maybe a boom like the exotic meteors. For a moment the landing site glows on the horizon… then darkness. You know somethings out there… but you don’t know what. Maybe it’s a couple of evil prospectors… maybe a rogue drone… maybe a three headed slinker that some breeder had to jettison. Have them drop some random rare resources. Maybe they only last 24 hrs…
