[Suggestion] Missing building pieces megathread
We are missing several building pieces, especially in the halfpiece/halfpitch category.
In particular:
- Halfpitch Roof Peak (for odd length roofs)
- Halfpitch Angle Peak (for odd length roofs)
- Halfpitch Roof Corner
- Half Roof (1Lx0.5W and 0.5Lx1W for better roof eaves)
- Quarter Roof (0.5Lx0.5W)
- Halfpitch Half Roof (as above)
- Halfpitch Quarter Roof (as above)
- Half Beam Vertical and Diagonal, Horizontal as bottom and top variants)
- Half length railings
Additionally, we are missing snap-points for normal size pieces onto halfpieces such as:
- Snapping floors to half walls
- Snapping railings to half walls
- Snapping ramps to half walls
- Snapping normal roofs to half walls
It would be great to have these options added so we can enhance our buildings.

Clipper Steen MergedThe current stairs design takes up a lot of space inside a building. It would be great to have a a set of corners stairs that elevate 1 level, provide a 90 deg change of direction, and fit into a standard single floor space. Ideally, one could nest a small storage box alongside the half width stairs. This construction element is used in MISCREATED and has proven very useful and efficient.

cc Mergedwood/stone/metal different looking styles/colors just more randomness to the textures. it'd be nice to have different styles of indoor wood flooring/walls to utilize.
able to paint indoor walls on like concrete or whatever. drywall indoor pieces? maybe upload ur own pictures for posters and stuff.
more foundation pieces for the base which effect the over all stability of the walls -

Excellion MergedA glass floor would also come in handy as roof for a glass green house with and uneven number of foundations /¯\
Some people find it aesthetically more pleasing than a peaked roof. -

JenJen MergedAgreed! The interior face of some of the walls & floors, especially concrete is aesthetically unappealing. Since concrete is an "advanced" material, it would be nice if the interior face was drywall or something similar. Also, Icarus has both pelts and fiber, and we're able to craft window/door curtains, but we can't craft rugs. On that same point, a variety of curtains from different materials would be nice instead of just leather. The leather door curtain we could probably do away with and replace it with a larger range of door types and style options. We could add various steel, fiberglass, and iron doors, including ones with windows and/or doorframes with glass accents.
About foundation pieces: all of the different pillars are really nice looking, but I haven't had much reason to use them since they can't also snap to edges like beams do. -

Doug MergedWould also like to have at minimum a glass floor option maybe only available if the water pump is connected so that it is reinforced. Wouldnt make much sense to have "weak" glass floors =)

Craig MergedCurrently we have high pitch and half pitch roofing tiles. The full pitch roofing tiles give you the ability to add 90 degree roof tiles which allow for some flexibility in your home construction. However with full pitch roofs if you use the center cap roof tile (the roof uses 3x roof tiles) then you are not able to connect another roof at 90 degrees seamlessly to the cap. The other issue is that half pitch roofing tiles do now allow for 90 degree integration at all, and there is also no option for bridging half/full pitch roofs at 90 degrees seamlessly either. Adding these options would make home building so much better. I love building homes in each mission, it's almost my favorite part of the game, and missing these tiles makes it hard to come up with new and creative designs. Please consider adding these missing roof tiles.

ELITE MergedIt would be great if you could place half walls on top of each other. For example, a glass half wall on a half concrete wall, which would result in narrower windows. Such a function would be really great to be able to build even nicer bases with it

Uzrael MergedAdd a Drawbridge type piece, that creates a section of floor that can be raised or lowered.
Currently, a common defensive tactic is to create a bridge, then remove a section to stop animals. An easier and more realistic way to achieve this would be to provide a drawbridge section, using a simple pulley system.
[Tier 2] Wood Drawbridge - wood floor section that is raised and lowered with a rope pulley
[Tier 4] Powered Drawbridge - concrete wall section that lowers and closes seamlessly -

ApachePlease consider ability to rotate any building shape/block 360 degrees. Half walls are a must have for us to make Items not collide on 2 floor wasting a floor space where roof attaches, walls that are 2 blocks high are to much when roof is attached.

Daniel Piccolotto MergedI suggest having stairs the size of the Half Piece, this way the stairs would be more practical. When we build a staircase to reach other floors of the building, this represents 4 more spaces in the building, which greatly increases the material needed, as well as the space used.
