[Bug] Vegetable name mismatch (additional info)

1 votes

To avoid misunderstanding, here I would like to explain more clearly again about the related issue:

Here are the correct names below.

Potato:
Chinese(Simplized): 土豆 (OK now)
Chinese(Traditional): 馬鈴薯 (Now it shows as 土豆 just like above. Please fix to 馬鈴薯 !)

Zucchini:
Chinese(Simplized): 小南瓜 (OK now)
Chinese(Traditional): 櫛瓜 (Now it shows as 小南瓜 just like above. Please fix to 櫛瓜 !)

Current situation is, some translations of Chinese(Traditional) are using Chinese(Simplized) texts, which are only just character-shape-transformed but actually mismatching from the correct(real) language.

Many Mandarin translators think that Chinese(Traditional) and (Simplized) are just different in the character shape. But actually there are many difference in the way we call things or even grammar. It would not always be correct answers when you shift the character shape of a Chinese(Simplized) text to (Traditional) by Microsoft Words. We Taiwanese just do NOT call potato as 土豆.
