[Bug] Can't resume prospect
When im starting prospect after a some time it always crushes. All my items are on me. Its the second time im starting from the begining becouse of in game bug. Help me or its the last time i put my time in youre product.

This is still an issue as of 1/28/2026 when loading into any prospect either old or brand new, the game crashes without producing a crash report. I tried resuming a prospect with Task Manager open and watched my memory usage shoot from ~30% to ~95%+. The game always crashed at some point between 95-98% of memory usage but did not throw a crash report once when this happened. It started happening on my Olympus save so I figured that it may be due to me loading into a sizable base and then tried to start a new prospect on Styx, the same thing happened. It really sucks that a game I love is now unplayable.
I have:
1) verified my game files
2) uninstalled and redownloaded
3) made sure all of my drivers are up to date
4) lowered all of my graphics settings to the "Low" setting
Rig:
-RTX 5060Ti
-Intel i7-8700 3.20GHz
-16GB RAM -

Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4770K CPU @ 3.50GHz 3.50 GHz
RAM: 16 gb, system 64 - bit
Geforce 1070
And for clearance i played 213 h in icarus. And i whant to play more. -

Elissa - Producer AdminUnfortunately, it seems like your specs are on the lower end of our minimum specs, so that might be why. Have you checked that your resolution settings are all right? And do you send the crash reporter everytime?

GuankeppioThe game specs the user provided are better or same as recommended system requirements. The game has some new memory leaks and issues with save game file corruption that are probably causing the issues. I have 128GB of RAM on my gaming rig and still run into memory leaks where the games consumes the remainder of my RAM until it crashes... using system monitor charts, it takes the game about 12 seconds to fill 128GB of RAM when it hits a memory leak.

W2D2Just as a reference, I have played from the very beginning. I've had my install go through all updates without issues. I do have crashes every now and then (Unreal engine crashes), but never have I had to restart from scratch.
I have heard of plugins causing these types of issues so are you using plugins?
The game is beautiful and eats resources and can have visual glitches which the devs probably know about, but nothing making it unplayable.
I think a 1070 is just not going to give you the best experience for the game but it shouldn't cause you to have to restart your be prospect.
As Guankeppio suggests maybe a memory leak happened and somehow the save game got compromised. But that's a far fetch because the gamestate is in memory and only gets dumped to file every now and then fusing a save event. -

MjolnirI've also had this issue where I'm unable to reload a prospect (Jan '26). Over 50 hours in and no issues, logged out and the next day it would crash when attempting to load (Unreal error). I've emailed the devs including a screenshot but it might be worth commenting here.
I started a new prospect and the game has run fine since (except when loading the prospect that crashes).
I have:
1) Verified my files via steam
2) Uninstalled, reinstalled
3) Uninstalled, wiped any residual files, reinstalled
4) Checked all my drivers are up-to-date and also installed additional drivers via the Nvidia app to assist with optimizing
5) Tried running in DX-11 & DX-12 (I usually play in DX-11)
6) Triple checked my graphics settings in game (again no issues before or after - it's just on that one prospect).
7) PC specs are: Geforce RTX 3050, Intel i7 14th Gen, 32GB RAM.
I think it's a save file issue, but it's worth flagging as I do not think this is isolated (I've seen sporadic instances online).
