[Suggestion] Make More Creatures Tameable

If not unplanned making jaguars tame-able like other hunting pets would be greatly appreciated as jaguars and other wild cats are excellent hunters and some have been seen being friendly to humans. (When not considering humans a threat to territory, food or young)

i just want an amphibian for Olympus, most often start a new world settlement in underwater cave and mounts cant swim under while following, they end up getting stuck in wall on teleportation thing.

I have only seen bear cubs on that one mission in Olympus. The journal entry for Bear states " They also produce offspring at a much higher rate." yet none of them have a bear cub following them. Add them to the game following their grizzly bear counterpart. Make them being able to be tamed as well. (Laika update).

Doesn't matter if it's mechanical, or something we tame. Flying in a game with terrain this beautiful, is simply something that many people enjoy. Adds a new way to see, and enjoy the map.

By the way, if the present terrain does not support something flying too high, as in there are holes in the top of the mountains, or nothing beyond the surrounding perimeter mountain range, just make a reason that the machine/tame cannot fly that high, and then don't let them fly above a height set by the Devs.

I would have edited the post, but can't find a way to do so. Anyway, I recently learned that the tops of the cliffs/mountains are visual only, so yes a height limit would be needed for the flyer. I don't see that as anything that would inhibit this idea. Just have something native to Icarus, or a mutant, that flies, but refuses to fly high. Like a treetop skimmer. It would only fly to a height a little below the top of the physical walls...so no flying through the walls.

Its cargo weight limit? I would like it to be able to carry what's in a drill. So not as valuable for heavy transport as a Buffalo, but still useful for a resource run, when time matters.

Honestly, the #1 pet I've wanted since starting is a baby deer. They are beyond adorable. Since the assets are already created and in-game, making most creatures tamable shouldn't be a hugely heavy lift. I'd love to see this.

It would seriously be cool if you could tame a Jaguar, Leopard or Bear to have as a combat pet. A bear could even be used as a mount but would not be able to carry as much as a Buffalo or even a Terrenus to balance its usefulness since it can fight better than any other mount. It would be able to run about as fast as a Buffalo.

A tamed predator would initially be weaker than their wild counterparts, but with time and care would be able to match them, if not outright outperform them in combat. In order to do that, you would have to invest in a talent tree on yourself that deals with training an offensive oriented pet/mount.

Specialized treatment of wounds and such for your combat pets would have to be unlocked to help their survivability. Armor pieces for them would also be a good way to make things even more interesting.

To make things balanced, you can only have one combat pet following you at a time, though you can own more than one.

If we could have Bear Cubs added as a pet with the snare bait traps that would work for several things.

Not asking for Bear mounts - just Bear Cub pet. I am sure a few people out there want them for pets! (Yes I know it’s a little odd lmao)

This would also offer finally a reliable way for the Bear Cub Beastiary points to get completed. It can be used to summon a Bear Cub only in Forest or Grassland type areas, but gives the opportunity to get points for kills.

Also 1 point for every level the Bear cub gains to the max of L25.

They definitely do not need to be strong, so stats at L25 would be nothing crazy.

It would be nice to actually see them used/randomly on the map more. They don’t need to be with an adult bear, but could be, just like the baby deer?

I absolutely hope they will add tameable cats to the roster. I mean, they definitely appear to be dog people. You get tameable wolves, dogs with skill trees and so on, but apart from the domesticated house-cat we don't get a single tameable cat? On behalf of all cat-lovers I request, nay demand, to be included!

Pretty pretty please with sugar and a cherry on top let me have a tame snow leopard? Don't need to ride it, that would be cruel.

this is a great game and i love it however adding more taming and creatures will add on tremendously to the player base just look at the spike of people online every time you release a tamable creature

Please make some more creatures tamable, especially the komodo dragon, I would absolutely love to have an army of lizards!
