[Bug] (OPENWORLD / COOP / BUG) Storm sounds and lightning flashes shared across regions

On Prometheus (open world), two-players on locally hosted game. Player 2 is in the grasslands region with a storm occurring (Rain and Lightning). Player 1 is in volcanic region (separated by swamp region), there is no storm in volcanic region, yet Player 1 hears the wind/rain and sees lightning flashes.
More info: Player 1 was hosting and in volcanic region when Player 2 joined (dropped in grasslands).
Definitely not a game-breaker but I hope this is the correct place to share it? If this is already reported and I didn't find it (I did look!), please let me know and delete this one.
