  I have encountered the same issue and cannot finish the mission, however in my case it is the water tank that is missing. see attached screenshots of the truck where the watertank should be.
  This is exceptionally annoying, since all the other required components have already been resourced, crafted and deployed to the truck (many ingame hours spent), so being forced to restart this mission and loose all the resources already comited inspires one to quit the game and move on to something else...

  While completing a mission in the open world of STRANDED:ASHLANDS, I encountered an unpleasant bug that prevents me from completing the mission.
  According to the task, I need to load cargo into a truck. But I don't have a storage facility where I can do this.
  Watching streams, I saw that cargo fits into the radiator grille. However, I don't have one.
  There is only the option to fill the truck with water and biofuel. All other slots are blocked and cannot be opened.
  Plus, the front radiator grille itself simply disappeared. Can you tell me what to do in this situation?

  So, I found a solution to the problem. At least for the open world.
  First of all, you need to understand that this is a bug related to the spawn of the base itself.
  
  How to solve this problem:
  You need to restart the mission using the SMPL3 interface.
  It is important to consider the following:
  1. The SMPL3 equipment where you will cancel the mission must be at least 300 meters from the base. Failure to comply with this rule will lead to new problems (only part of the base will spawn - without a truck at all)
  2. After canceling the mission, everything that is on the base will disappear. That is, if you put spare parts for repairing the truck in one of the boxes at the base - the equipment will disappear forever.
  Therefore, be sure to take it before restarting the mission.
  3. I strongly recommend that you back up your saves before canceling the mission. For the Steam version of the game, they are located at:
  C:\Users\----------\AppData\Local\Icarus\Saved\PlayerData
