[Suggestion] Repair and drop hotkeys
Add a "repair button"
Hit (mapped hotkey) and you repair whatever you're holding. Even if it has a slight delay, it'll be much less of a pita than stopping what your doing, opening the inventory, mousing over the item, right clicking, clicking repair, then closing your inventory.
Or even an auto repair, meaning using broken item again initiates the repair process. I.E Mining a rock, pick breaks on the fifth swing, attempting to swing it again repairs it. Keep mining.
While there is a keybind for "drop item", it doesn't seem to work. I mouse over an item in my inventory and hit the assigned key, and it doesn't do anything.

LamDungLan Mergedit would be nice to have a hotkey to repair while in fights if somehow if weapon is broken.

Emjay MergedI'm sorely lacking a "repair equipped item" hotkey. Maybe I'm missing something, but having to open my inventory, move my cursor to the broken item, right click and click "Repair" is very tedious.
A hotkey to repair the currently equipped item would be a very big QoL change, at least in the early game. -

Stefan MergedMaybe it is because you can't/shouldn't fight and repair at the same time. Only one task after another. 😉
I don't know if this will be changed or is not planned. -

margsThe way the drop item hotkey functions does not make sense. Other games let you do this from inside an inventory. If you want users not to be frustrated with your game, a predictable user experience goes a long way. I suggest making the functionality more predictable as in other games in this category. Dropping from hotbar only is unexpected behavior.

zanlok(+1) Came here to post just first part-- a repair button for the currently equipped tool/weapon. This would be lovely, and playability and immersion feel lacking now. If I'm holding an item, it would be nice to repair same as reload.
Aside from convenience, having to go into inventory to repair a bone knife breaks the early survival experience.
This should be shown on the right side keybind/actions-- just enabled whenever the repair resources and stamina are available, of course. If it was only available when on the inventory screen, that's an acceptable compromise. -

Kazzik MergedSponges are plentiful and you don't use many. Doing an icon hunt and dragging/dropping them in the drop box on the inventory is unnecessarily tedious. There is a "drop key" (that I mapped to 'z'), could that drop things in your inventory that your cursor is hovering over?

MaXKX11 MergedAdding a hotkey that lets you repair items in your hotbar when equipped. would let me use my bone knife a lot more easily if i didnt have to go the inventory mid polar bear fight every 20 hits.
