[Suggestion] Add auto replant functionality to farming
I saw some similar suggestions in the past, but farming appears to have been reworked since without addressing the issue.
Right now, every once in a while, preferably every time but that would be way too tedious, after harvest we need to go through a frustrating process of removing each plant and planting a new one. Besides having to swap 50 different seeds in and out of our toolbelt, there's also a short delay after each action so you can't just quickly button mash down a row of plots. It's soooo tedious.
Instead, when players use a sickle to harvest, check their inventory for a seed for that crop type. If they have one, automatically remove and replant that plot. You can have this functionality toggleable at the player level so we can still stockpile seeds when we want to; this also adds a player decision point, which is fun. And maybe make it work only with hydroponic plots, as they currently aren't really worth the cost.

EventideUse of crafted Plots is resource intensive. When I first started playing, I thought they were the ONLY method, I had not learned out about the power of shovels, at that point. (This could be explained better in the early Supply Stockpile mission(s).
Crafted plots may be the only option in some locations, but, if you can use a buffalo to lay down rows with a seeding cart, crop production via this method is so overpowered by comparison, that any player Talents or bonuses pale into irrelevancy. I can transport stacks and stacks of crop production from the temperate Forest, across Olympus, enough to last a long time at an outlying player-base.
If in the future we get the ability to launch anything into orbit and back down where we want it - may as well remove the crafted Plots from the game. -

AesirkinI haven't tried the ox carts yet, but I found shovels to be tedious because the mounds disappear after each use. I was ecstatic when I found plots because there's no need to reshovel and replant every harvest. Okay okay, and because my OCD can't handle the uneven spacing of the mounds... :P
I think if plots were designed for much easier replanting, like I described, they would be a viable alternative to using the carts, allowing players a choice of playstyle, which I really like.
