  Avalanche: Expedition. I have gathered all needed resources and the laser from the pod. When I go to the pass to set up the laser there is no place to "snap" it. I can't finish the mission and I can't advance in my mission logs because this mission is incomplete and later missions remain locked. Any assistance is much appreciated.

  Everything going as it should until the ice / rocks break, I killed the mammoths but tracker not progressing as I Proceed through the pass, went and dropped the radar at the site mined up most of the exotics....but tracker not progressing. posted a screenshot of my map

  The same story, the glacier was melted, mammoths were killed, but when the point in square I7 (with radar) is reached, nothing happens.
  However, the stage of the quest ‘Proceed through the pass’ was not counted. This happens just a few tens of meters after the arch with the melted glacier, when Sol speak to you.

  passed the required point (where the quest script should have been activated) riding Moa. When he returned to this place and walked on foot, everything counted.

  In the Olympus expedition, AVALANCHE: EXPEDITION, if you pick up the vapor laser after placing it and try to re-place it, you won't be able to since the snap point vanishes. This issue has been persistent since 2022 and has not been fixed since.

  HI, been playing Averlange Expedition with 2 friends for about 10h up to T4 then we wanted to do the actual mission.
  Picking up the laser worked so this is not the same problem as previous bug reports.
  
  Problem 1:
  After deploying the laser, powering it and starting it, nothing happend.
  
  Maybe this was caused because a friend build the laser on it's spot and I started/activated it after deployment. Did not try reproduce this as it takes hours - maybe a dev can have a look.
  
  Problem 2:
  Tried to pick the laser up and redeploy to fix Problem 1.
  You can't free-place it, and the snap point is missing now, probably because the mission progressed to "activate the laser".
  
  Problem 3:
  Tried to despawn the laser in hope the game will check for existance of mission critical items on start and give us a new one and reset the mission to the point we have to pick it up.
  Sadly this did not work either.
  
  Any way to fix this? Or is abandoning the only option?

  I began this expedition with a friend some months ago. We finally got back to playing again and I decided to pick up the device after it had been placed at the quest location. This was to see how much power it needed. However, once I picked it up I could not place it again. It said it must snap, but no location was available. This may be due to that part of the mission having already been completed. But it has meant we were unable to complete the prospect simply because I picked it back up.

  I had this same issue, I ended up even not being able to abandon mission on my mobile device until I went all the fricken way back to my camp and interacted with contact device. I did another mission and eventually thought I'd retry this mission especially because it's the gateway mission to the rest of the missions. I ended up not picking up the device, but found that they had the option to operate the device incorrectly available prior to powering the device, and then once powering the device, the option to use the Laser went away. So I ended up getting the laser to shoot by rapid firing the "interact button" immediately after connecting the power line. This method did in fact work even as Bugged and broken as it is, however, the laser got to 100% and did NOT destroy the Glacier. it triggered the mission as if it had been blasted, spawned some enemies beyond it, bossman says "where'd they come from" but Glacier still resides, tried retriggering laser, nothing. BUGGED. can't progress

  This is a horrible bug. Game ceasing bug. I cannot continue to do other missions even as my contact device won't even let me abandon. "Activate" option for Laser is incorrectly available prior to powering, but won't actually activate without power, but once you power it the option to "activate" no longer is available. I managed to spam pressing x immediately after connecting power to glitch it into being truly activated, however even after 100% complete on Laser the Rock does not get destroyed but the mission seems to think it is and triggers the next steps of mission with beasts spawning on the other side of rock. Cannot proceed with game currently as Rock persists and mission cannot be abandoned, and even if I could abandon it, It's a blockade mission which I cannot do the rest of the missions until this is done. Thus STUCK.

  I picked up the laser before connecting a power source, and now the laser won't snap because the mission thinks I've already placed it.
  
  Please fix this bug. I'm now locked out of mission progression and very frustrated.
