[Bug] Body bag dissappear

  AND it has happened again... Twice fighting world boss scorpions in the Husk mission. Another players died and as I was running to them, POOF gone. Scorpion #2, I was "revived" with a couple seconds but game would never load. I was stuck on the black loading screen. Even ended the with steam and reloaded (mission is on a server) and I still just sit on the loading screen. BOTH of us had Anti-Material rifles on is.
  I think it is time to quit Icarus again if that much work just disappears and the Devs don't care.

  We also have lots of recent issues where we can see the overflow bag from a body, but not the actual body to revive. This is a really annoying bug, especially during big boss fights. There are also bugs where the overflow bag is invisible or something, so gear is lost.

  We also have lots of issues where a player dies and we cannot find their body to revive them... this has been an issue for years, but recently it has been getting much worse. It feels like there is a 40% chance we will be able to see the body bag to revive a fallen player. It gets even worse in a boss fight because we cannot revive the player to bring them back into the fight... so eventually everyone dies and we have to start the fight over.

  I had the same happen on the Gargantuan Prime hunt. My friend was there inside 3 secs, saw me and then I disappeared. 2 CHAC shotguns, 2 on planet guns, 4mods, full armor set, O2, Canteens, meds and food. All gone forever.

  I have also lost all my gear - Two legendary weapons in that loss!!
  Tried defeating Earthquake, died too many times - started running back to the cave - started killing one of the sand worms and forgot I had explosives bullets died, respawned and hello What the ... wheres my body bag dude??

  yep this as well happened to my group many times . infact it happened so many times to one of my friends iamdamo that he literally will not play the game anymore . this is really sad for my group since he use to play quite frequently . but i understand when you loose 4 fully upgraded legendaries a full set of gear with mods and tons of other stuff each time you die in there it can get very frusterating . please please please get to this bug cause its definately something that makes people not want to come back and enjoy your amazing game . thank you

  Unfortunately, the error still occurs, which is very disappointing when you suddenly find yourself standing naked in the middle of nowhere :(

  This has happened to me twice already. Once last night and again today. 1 time I lost my legendary mining tool. I can remake the gear but losing that hurts. I have used the Report Issue each time but never hear anything back.

  This has happened to my friend 3 times now and he has finally quit after losing a 3rd set of space and and fully upgraded legendary gear. Shame that this bug cant be fixed as we are losing players.

  Update on my last comment. (Husk hunt)
  To recap, I went down and was "revived" with in a couple seconds of going down, except I never got up, just stuck on the "Preparing geometry"/loading screen. I uses Steam to "STOP" the game and reloaded in. (It is on a dedicated server) Again, just sitting on the "Preparing geometry"/loading screen. Got frustrated and quit. Let my friends finish out. Today I restarted the server and tried loading back and I am just sitting on the "Preparing geometry"/loading screen. Do you have any idea how much gear I have on this world, not counting the 3 legendary weapons between and one friend. I have outfitted 3-4 other players with armor and gear/weapons.   My dad and I just installed Great Hunts. We had no issues with the hunt itself. Dad went back into the open world with another character and got ganked by a Quaggie. There is no grave marker and he lost his body bag. When I went back to do a corpse run with him we had to fight a Quaggie and I died, he was able to find my corpse but there was no label for the body bag even though the body bag was right there.

  Had a friend get stuck on the Preparing Geometry screen after being run over by a quarrite while downed. Bodybag appears to still be there, but I haven't actually checked as of yet.

  The hitboxes of the corpses seems to not be interacting with the hitboxes of the stones.
  Happened twice: a mate dying on a rock, and a wolf corpse that I dropped on a rock. Both got through it and couldn't be reached. My mate's body bag didn't go through though, was nicely sitting on top of the rock.

  We've also been experiencing similar issues on our multiplayer open world, although not specific to just boss fights or expansion related material. We've had items disappear as they were being picked up, we've had items disappear when a mission ends/is completed due to the temporary terrain (ie quarrite burrows) being removed by the system at mission's end, and taking any items left on the ground with it, and we've had items all together disappear from animal inventories when said animal dies by randomly deciding to yeet itself off a cliff edge, rather than properly follow the character.

  I have a death marker go back to it and no bag this has happened more than once. then I loose everything.. I think that this is a problem that more people are having and should be fixed......

  Also had this bug with the Quarrite boss. my friend couldnt revive me and when I went back in, the stuff in my corpse was irretrievable. We couldnt rewind as all the save files are on the steam cloud. This ended with the both of us losing all our gear. The body loot box at the bossfight entrance suggested by OP sounds like a pretty good workaround.

  after fighting rimetusk .. i got knocked out and got diconnected when i returned , ported back to home then all resources gone plus items on storage even saddle on mounts all disappeared. and body is not retrievable anymore

  We've experienced this bug so many times. In addition to a new one where a revived player loses 1/3rd of their gear. The "I'm dead over here" but my buddy can't see me bug is so annoying and usually means when I rez my loot bag is gone.

  Playing elysium on killing sand queen. Killed multiple times, when revived my body and loot would disappear. Now I can't even log into the server because my body is off the map at pos p -3 (whatever that means). I tried to import my body to another map, then go back in, no go... verified, no go.... Just got nuclear and lost everything.
