[Suggestion] HUD Customization
Would love the ability to turn off certain parts of the HUD. Weather in the top right corner for example.

Elissa - Producer AdminThis is already a feature! Hit numpad 9 in game and all your UI should disappear! Remember to turn it back on before you go into an inventory though.

MantaukI think the Admin missed the part about "PARTS OF THE HUD" not the entire thing. There are many games on the market that allow you turn on individual parts of the HUD without turning everything off. You might not want a compass. Or a hotbar. Or the weather indicator. Or your health bar... and you can still want those other things. All or nothing does not resolve the OPs request.

HappyBombs MergedWould love to have an option to have the HUD completely off but ALSO be able to tab and go into the inventory/crafting.
At the moment, switching the HUD off completely (Numpad 9) does not allow you to see your inventory / crafting menu so is really only good for screenshots. I would love more immersion with the option to explore, gather resources, etc, with nothing on screen but also be able to go into my menus with out having to hit NumPad 9 every time.
Maybe it’s a little more hardcore with no HUD on but I much prefer it visually and the option to have this would be great. -

MacroEchoing the sentiment that a minimalist HUD option would be really nice. The game is beautiful and the environment immersive, but it is drowned out by 1000x HUD elements. Having info available is nice, but so is having awareness of the world. I would love to see a minimalist HUD setting, with the full HUD available when tabbed into a menu, for example.
Minimalist HUD could be coupled with non-visual queues for critical status updates, like player hunger, low oxygen, etc. In general this would generate greater immersion and less need for a cludgy, overwhelming HUD. -

Jumbuck Mergedit would be great to add hotkeys and/or a settings menu to add or remove elements of the hud, the mission objective is too big and doesn't need to be up all the time, the button to remove hud altogether is great but it means crafting menus disappear, you cant play the game with it off.

geo MergedI agree here, I would like there to be the ability to completely remove everything from the screen when playing. Numpad 9 works well until you try and play, or access inventory.

Rayven Mergedright now, if you have too much health on a mount or person it shows behind your action bars, and if you are on a mount it takes up the whole screen. Allow us a way to customize the hud to our liking. Or allow modders to do that.
