[Error] - 051 - "You were kicked...by the host." But I wasn't haha

  I have something similar and the following things can happen.
  I join a game and immediately get kicked (even though the other players haven't kicked me).
  I'm in a game and I randomly get kicked (even though the other player's haven't kicked me).
  From then on I cannot join the game unless I become the host.
  This weirdly enough doesn't happen to the other player's, just me.

  Error code 051 kicked from prospect. I keep getting kicked by host after 10 min of play. Tried 2 different hosts uninstalling and reinstalling the game but nothing helps.

  ERROR UPDATE: My super techy friend adjusted a bunch of connection/>>ethernet<< settings on my PC, and I verified my game files. Something in there >>FIXED<< it. I don't think it was verifying the game files.

  I am only getting this error when I run my second account on the same PC through sandboxie and other external players are in the game with me. If I am just playing with my two characters by myself it is fine but as soon as a friend joins Ithat account will get kicked. Also, if I try to join a multiplayer hosted by a friend it seems to often cause him to disconnect

  I have been having an issue where when attempting to join most players the game theyre hosting does not appear in the server browser and if attempt to join through steam I get an error message "Error Code: Kicked From Prospect - 051, You were kicked from the prospect session by the hosting player". All of the other players seem to be able to connect to eachother without issues. I can also host and they can join me without issue.

  Our little group of four has been playing since launch with no issues, normally with myself hosting. Yesterday I did not host and all seemed well for almost an hour, then I was kicked from the server with the error code 051. I was unable to rejoin the game and the hosting player has confirmed that he did not kick me! If I host, all can join the game with no issues. If I'm not the host I get kicked from the server.

  Could that affect the problem, that it blocks somehow the traffic from there?
  
  When i get kicked out, sometimes (1 from 10) it starts the game again, but then after 10s -> the error comes again and i'm kicked out
  
  9 of 10 the error comes straight away when joining the prospect

  Getting this issue when I've been playing with 2 other people today. Unable to play at the moment. Having played with one of the people in the party in the past without issue, I have no idea what the issue is.
  
  Unable to reconnect for at least 10 minutes.
  
  I love paying to beta-test a 'finished' game... it's fucking wonderful!

  Got the same problem being kicked after ten minutes while playing together as 3.
  Playing together as 2 with the same host there was no problem some days ago.

  106 hours played with current trio. About 10-15 minutes into current prospect I was kicked by host "051". I am able to host them but they are unable to host me.

  Also have this problem.
  Sometimes randomly get kicked while playing, but most often it happens when I join an existing session and I just get kicked even though the host didn't kick me. The only way we can play is if I become the host, because if the other player(s) do it I keep getting the message that I was kicked.

  Same as well, been playing with 3 friends, started a new prospect, and getting the kicked 051 message as soon as i get in. reinstalling the game did not help.

  Playing with my friend and I stepped away for 5 minutes. I came back saying error 051 that I was kicked. spoke with my friend and they had said they didn't kick me. Tried numerous things such as restarting the game and attempted to join, got the same error. My friend also restarted their game and hosted again. Validated my files. No errors. I tried hosting which allowed me to rejoin the prospect and my friend was able to join with no problem.

  Why is this issue back again? Shouldn't it be fixed by now? I was doing fine and we were all playing on a Dedicated server through G-Portal then suddenly every time I am in the prospect and someone joins I get booted with the message that the hosting player kicked me... I am the hosting player. This is my GPortal server. I can't even join my server that I pay for if someone else is already there. In the end this makes it a solo game for me. Not what I am going for. These posts are over years and nothing seems to have been answered. No I don't use Avast, so don't ask. Everything was fine until the last update. Please pay attention to what you are doing, and fix this. I will have an impossible time spending money on any more DLC's you put out unless I can actually play the game with others. This has been under consideration since 2021, I don't think you are addressing this at all.

  Hi there, have you tried sending a support ticket to the G-Portal server devs? It sounds like it might be a dedicated server issue rather than an our end issue at this point.

This has been beyond annoying any time I log on I have to make all my friends log out and I have to host, and they cannot start a prospect without me or I wont be able to join it. Any ideas on a solution for this, ive been searching hard before posting and dont see anyone with a similar issue.
