[Bug] Mortar & Pestle Shelter bug
I placed a M&P on a table inside a closed room. When I look at it, it shows that it's "Sheltered". But if i move just a little, and look from a different angle, it shows "Not Sheltered". In any case when I interact with the M&P it always shows as "Not Sheltered"

Out of curiosity, are the roof pieces directly above them the roof corners made for making eves? I've just discovered they do not register as "sheltered" -

Paul Price MergedMy structure was watertight - I had every single wooden piece at 100%, checked and triple checked there were no gaps. But the pestle and mortar wouldn't work and when I moved away from it it completely disappeared (several times).

Elissa - Producer AdminDo you have a few more screenshots of your house so we can see more of what the room looks like? Are you playing on a dedicated server?

adrianThe mortar and pestle can be set on top of a night stand to keep it's in-shelter status, but not other things (but I haven't tried everything).

Leonmitchelli MergedSomehow hurtbox of building blocks exceed others. Wood tiles are constantly being damaged under roof. Or when placed close to stone wall - it looks like it considered as outside and constantly being damaged by weather. It's not how it should be~

Nipheon MergedSometimes when you place a mortar and pestle on top of an herbalism bench, as well as a kitchen Counter, it will say "not sheltered" when you go to craft things such as epoxy. I have had this happen several times and I'm unsure if it's related to the type of background wall or stone beam I have behind my kitchen/herbalism Bench, or the distance I stand when I press F to craft. It seems unlikely that a player would place a mortar and pestle on the floor, as it's a small crafting bench so it should work when placed on a counter, in a house. My house is all stone. Uploading so you can see the workbenches, and how my stable wall is built behind the workbench, as well as showing it IS sheltered. Maybe a collision with the beams or the wooden fence preventing "sheltered".

Nipheon MergedThis may be related to the one I posed of mortar and pestle being unhoused inside. There is an issue with roof detection and certain (hitboxes?) or close by Beams/Walls

NipheonI'm having this same issue. I cannot find my thread to post in it, it appears deleted but I had pictures. mine has a double door behind it, with no door in it, with a fence, and above for the roof is a corner upside down triangle "eve" that meets another for a roof "corner" on the second story. Second ss the eve you can see in the picture through the balcony is directly above this section. Not registering as 'sheltered' under the corner upside down roof pieces.
