[Bug] Menus (and filters) input capture problems
Menus do not prevent other uses of certain inputs.
Specifically, typing in filters does not block other uses of keys. I kept getting kicked out of the fabricator when trying to filter for "biofuel" because "i" opens inventory. Another example is clicking on the map makes my mount attack (not sure if it would also make me shoot my friends, haven't checked)
**However, I actually WOULD like it if I could use WASD, maybe also Shift, to move normally with the map open (maybe even other menus) like I can in Valheim. Probably I should make a separate suggestion for that.

For example, typing an F while in the chat and on a mount will dismount, even though it shouldn't affect the actual game. Also, typing the "inspect network" key while holding a water/electricity tool will activate that function as well. This shouldn't happen when the player is typing into the chat window. -

Mark Donoghue MergedWhen using the search functionality (e.g. when crafting) and pressing a key that is a hotkey (such as I for inventory or O or J) the hotkey function applies instead of adding the character to the search box. This seems to be a new issue with the latest version.

Joanna MergedWhen typing in a search box in menus, crafting, tech tree, etc., if you use the letter m it automatically opens the map and prevents you from searching. For example, searching for "hammer" will cut you off as soon as you get to the first m and open the map.

Brian Hillard MergedWhen using the search function on a bench etc, if you want to search for anything beginning with "O" or "P" doesn't work.
Instead it opens the Crafting or the Tech Tree.
So as it currently stands, searching for anything that begins with those two letters is impossible. -

Kevin MergedWas trying to chat with my friend and any time I was typing, it was opening menus, dismounting me off my mount, etc. when you hit enter and start typing, it needs to unlink itself from the game, so I’m not dealing with 6 menus trying to open every time I want to type a sentence.
