  This is a known issue which will be fixed in this week's update. You can try playing on the experimental build where this is fixed if you want!

  I played across 2 sessions. In the first I deposited 300 Copper ore, 250 Iron ore, and 85 gold ore. When I started the 2nd session the next day, my progress was 300 Copper, 85 Gold, and 0 Iron Build: 1.2.1099574-Shipping-Styx

  Hi guys, I have a problem with the mission extraction: Raw materials, as you can see in my picture I collected and delivered some ores into the experimental minning equipment Pod, but it just disappeared. I have started 3 times the mission but always the minning equipment Pod disappears. Actually I just noticed the game remove the spaceship mission pod when it starts rainning. Someone can help me with it please?

  The update has been released and this mission is still broken. Myself and my friends have all attempted to play it, but the experimental pod disappears each time.

  This bug is still occuring and the item pod despawns if a player logs out or with extreme weather. Was not fixed on last Fri patch

  No, I have restarted the mission each time. I tried again today. It's still not working.

  Was a new mission started on 23rd. Was tested on P2P solo - logged out after pod was found and items removed. Logged back in within 2 minutes. Pod has despawned. Restarted mission again - this time optional items left inside pod. Ores place therein - ores did not register when accessed. Items where then removed. Pod did not leave. Mission Abandoned. Was tried again on a DS with removing, log in and out - pod again either despawned or did not register ores. Hope this is of assistance.

  So I've started the Meridian: Extraction mission and I grabbed all of the mission equipment. There's a cave below where the pod landed so I quickly mined the iron and copper and upon returning to the pod to place my ores, the pod physically VANISHED from my screen as I approached it. It's not there- no interaction icon. Okay, so I call in a mission resupply from the game menu.
  This pod lands no problem and I deposit my ore... and the mission counter doesn't acknowledge I've put my iron and copper in to it. No amount of removing/re-adding seems to work. Taking all of the equipment from the pod sees this resupply pod take off to orbit now so now there's just... no pod.
  Exiting to main menu and loading back in doesn't yield any difference either.
  Is it because this resupply pod isn't the original 'Experimental Mining Equipment Pod'? Am I missing something else here or the fact that the game just randomly deleted the initial drop pod means I'm bugged and I have to restart now?

  I attempted again last night 31-OCT-2023 and this is still broken. Also, I'm seeing people reporting this on the Community Discussions Board and Tech Support in the Icarus Discord Server. Can we please have an update? The drop ship de-spawns shortly after the gear is collected from it. The mission is not able to be completed.

  This has been caught by our QA team and hopefully will be fixed in the next few weeks. We are hoping it will also fix a few other issues that have popped up with mission pods disappearing!

  After posting my own experience on this issue, I retried using a new thought: mine the required materials BEFORE interacting with the pod and taking the items.
  Upon retrieving the equipment, I immediately deposited all ores. Of course this requires someone to know ahead of time what they need, but in this case it worked and the pod didn't disappear (I worked on the assumption the pod only disappears AFTER someone has taken the mission equipment) so this could serve as a workaround for those that don't want to wait for a fix.
