[Suggestion] Japanese translation update
I understand that Japanese localization is high-cost and challenging to maintain alongside Icarus's weekly updates. However, I would like to highlight some long-standing issues in early-game content that have remained for over six months.
New players still encounter many untranslated or mistranslated strings:
Options Menu(Picture1): Parts of the menu remain in English.
Tech Tree(Picture2): Early items like the "SEED EXTRACTOR" are still untranslated.
Talents & Stats(Picture3): Some Talent descriptions are missing translations. Also, the inconsistent use of "HP" and "Health" in the UI can be confusing.
I am not asking for an immediate fix, but I hope the team can look into these foundational localization issues when possible.

riki7119 MergedI have noticed some issues with the localization in Japanese:
1. I believe the game is inspired by the Greek mythology. In that case, it should be called イカロス or イカルス. However the translation is swinging between イカルス and イカラス(which is totally a wrong translation). May need some consistency
2. the title ICARUS サバイブイカルス seems really weird due to the combination of English and Japanese in the same sentence. Either 「イカルス：サバイブ・イカルス」or 「ICARUS：サバイブ・イカルス」will look much aesthetically pleasing due to the middle dot separating the two different English term in Katakana
3. The sentence frequently uses 「獰猛」as a direct translation from 「Savage」. It is right, but will be wrong due to the context that it is used in. When talking about nature 「過酷」will be correct. 獰猛 should only be used for something that has a shape or form (i.e. 獰猛な自然生物(savage wild life) and not 獰猛な自然(savage wild)」

7. あなたの性格がすべてを決めます。
This is totally a miss translation. The original English text uses [character] and it could be translated both [性格] or [キャラクター]. 性格 is more used to describe the mind and personality of the character and not character itself. Therefore the correct translation is:
あなたのキャラクターが全てです。 would be more correct
There are still small bits and pieces of translation that doesn't flow naturally, so it may need a grammar check or proof read.

I heard that it is still in the process of localization, but looking at the Japanese in the process, the localization is full of mistakes. It's in Japanese, but it's not the Japanese that Japanese people use.
I feel that it would be good to have an advisor who can speak Japanese. (I'm afraid that the product version will be released with the wrong Japanese localization.) -

Mistranslations are causing misunderstandings and confusion in many places, On the other hand, the story subs are mostly in English, so there is no benefit in selecting Japanese. I couldn't find any reason to choose Japanese. so, this translation is useless, simply just garbage.
